EQO's performance was nothing short of spectacular. His mechanics were absolutely on point and you couple that with his on point decision making whew... just amazing.
It’s actually insane seeing him play. He frontlines like crazy and most people on ladder like this feed hard, but he just doesn’t die. He disengages perfectly if he gets low and has a team to keep him up and enable him to stay up front. So cool to watch

I think thе final match traumatized me a bit, I keep thinking about it, crying, can't sleep, can't play Overwatch, can't even watch streams. I've been a hardcore fan of Fusion since 2018, a fan of Carpe from before OWL, and its just unbearable to see them come so close again, closer than ever really, and still fall. Its just unbearable.
Don't worry, the team will come on top next time. It is only one tournament out of more to come, and, of course, the season 3 grand finals, that I'm sure we will take. Remember how last tournament they lost in semis? In an interview they said it reminded them how bad they hate to lose, and now they got so close to taking the entire thing. I'm sure they'll be even stronger next time

EQO absolutely outplayed sparkle. Fusion lost 3 maps from their continuing inability to adapt. Paris only won with the meta on rialto. SADO needed to pull out the winston on gibraltar and we needed to trust our bench on control. Ivy and poko needed to sub in for their superior mei and orisa play in brawl comps. No matter im still proud of my fusion! I know we will be the best come year's end
Eqos a fucking god but let’s not forget how mechanically skilled fury and alarm are especially shutting down almost every blade sparkle built this is the best we’ve seen philly in a small while and props to carpe for also turning the fight in their favour whenever he could! And ofc sado and boombox are amazing too.
I just have to point out, In the Rialto clutch he got no healing at all until the very end, he only had an armour pack and the payload healing...this absolute madman 24 seconds, (Count it) with just an armour pack and payload healing.
If you guys keep up this kind of play you will won the next one. And you will be the new grand champions! I belive in fusion you guys have this. Best team in the league.
It's so painful re-watching that last fight on Rialto. EQO put on a genji masterclass and clutched harder than Carpe did against Boston in season 1, and we still lost. Fuck.
When ppl say Sparkle was better, but in the 4 maps both fusion and eternal played the genji mirror, philly WON 3 of them. The only reason philly lost is the control maps and the obnoxious gibralter persistent comp. Philly played the *superior* genji style.
He got SEVEN KILLS in that last fight. It's still ANGUISHING that they lost, but what an incredible play...
