Lisa is who really brought the spotlight to TLC whether people want to admit it or not. They all are talented, beautiful young Woman. But how many beautiful, sexy Woman do you know that can sing? How many Black Women do you know that can dance? So what I am saying; people can't follow you if they don't know who you are. Lisa made them know and their talent took them the rest of the way.

I grew up listening to the Supremes, the greats like Aretha, Chaka, Gladys, Tina, En Vogue, Blaque, Xscape, SWV, Destinys Child, Cher (HA! Come on now...jk…) and TLC is the group I REALLY connected with. I LOVED their 'tomboy' flair and how they blossomed from that to sexy young women. My heart aches when I think of how and when Lisa Lopes passed on…I tend to love the misunderstood the most. Lots of love and light…xo.
