I quite like it when an anime is different from the manga. It gives you something different then what you know and keeps you on your toes. I'm not hating or anything I just find it annoying when people think just because it's different it's the end of the world. Although your opinion is justified because they left out important stuff. Although I have yet to read the manga my friend keeps me up to date on it so I know it's different.
I don't always hate it when animes have original endings, in this case I am mad because yeah about the info they left out and because I was looking forward to so much stuff. They are just doing a lousy job adapting it in my opinion. :|

I love the anime, but maybe that's because I haven't read the manga. But as a stand alone anime for those who don't read manga like me it truly is amazing. Plus this was my second anime I ever watched so I have that emotional attachment to it.
