Awesome podcast Matt! Franks the man, I learn so much every time I listen to him. So chartreuse is white to a bass. In my sixty some years of bass fishing I have never heard that but now I understand what was going on so many times. I agree with him on the mat fire tiger I need to dig that out and start throwing it again. Matt has Frank ever been to Mikes Tackle World? I only live about an hours drive from there, what a treasure.
For more help on this, there is 2 known scientific studies on Bass eyes. Very interesting. Another thing its true bass can see farther than us underwater but their clarity is not as sharp. Their lateral line also helps them. If they get jacked couple times say from crankbait they not smart but they smart by association what was the feeling or sound i felt before this scary event. Thats how nature evolves. If more than one if thier senses were in play when bit and had bad experiance they are programmed to avoid it. Now back to color, once read about bass color studies, run pictures if your baits through the Dalton Lense. Its a color blind simulator, you dial it in to bass rods and cones, and presto you see what alleged bass see
Frank story about getting swept under the boat gave me chills because I almost always fish alone. Doing the rope trick I had the spare clothes and towel.
Just saw the new flow feature on Deepdive. Super cool. Are we gonna get contour maps on Deepdive? That's the one thing Omnia has that i wish Deepdive had.
Im so scared to throw firetiger, but then i started throwing Loud Colors on my pond with super dark water and am believer. Then my long research on studies scientific re what Bass can see, caused me to use Dalton Lense. Now im believer

Hey Matt, did you put that plant behind Frank. Omg it's great. He looks like both Bozo and proffesor Irwin Corey. Lol. The greatest prank.
Great show boys!

I saw a hole on the Musselshell river below a diversion waterfall that turned off to rattle baits exactly like Frank describes..
