No way, Jose. Erling Haaland is a tapinner. Only ONE goal of his 52 last season was outside the box. Only one defender stopped Haaland. He ghosted in the last 7 toughest games of the UCL. If defenders can stop him, he'll never ever equal Messi or even Ronaldo. He doesn't do anything else, doesn't create, just waits for the ball in front of goal. Pple are so captivated by goal scoring. It's only one of the stats in football. It can also disadvantage the team, which is why Ronaldo was benched by Man U and Portugal. I honestly don't think Haaland will last. And he certainly won't equal Messi. Plus, he can't even qualify for the WC.
Y would u need to score outside of the box if the entire team plays in a system in which it feeds Haaland, look at Haaland in dortmund he was more complete, but that's not how city plays, its kinda boring but hes crazy
