she wrote that song when she was young, its about suicidal thoughts. "was it worth to do your best for your entire life?" and at the end she said "it was worth it. for this moment"
Agnieszka Chylińska is a great Polish rock star from the 90s, where she performed in the band O.N.A. Then she started a solo career. What's most funny is that in the 90s, parents of many children banned and were afraid for children listening to her music, because of the rock sound, rebellious character and image of this bad girl. Currently, the same parents are her biggest fans after she became a juror in the Polish version of "Got Talent" and became known as a very charming, loving and tender woman, which her fans have always known, and the older ones learned about it through this program.
I would suggest checking out a song by a band Perfect, "Autobiografia". It's a rock ballad from the 80s and I'm not sure if there are any people in Poland who don't know the lyrics by heart. This song is for us kinda like "Stairway to heaven" or "Bohemian rhapsody" to the rest of the world. Another great one from them that everyone knows is "Nie płacz Ewka". We used to have great rock bands in the 70s and 80s, nowadays not so much. The others worth mentioning are Dżem, Kult, Lady Pank, Budka Suflera
Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski 👍👍💕
I was there! It was really big concert. Agnieszka was amazing and this song is a classic in polish music as you see, everyone know the lyrics. Polish audience is wild! :D

I don't want to regret any moments Although I know it wasn't rosy I don't want to leave any tears Although I know it hurt sometimes I will smile at my thoughts I'll kiss all the shine off you - like this I will slowly lock the future Asking myself again and again Was it worth going crazy like this all your life? Rock music is important to Poles, because it was with us during the fight with communism and when communism at last have fallen. BTW. It was great, when during the song, Agnieszka said "Sorry for interrupting" ;)
Thank You again. Poland Rock Festiwal (previous name was Woodstok but they are not alowed to use this name anymore) is the bigest open field festival in Europe, and its every year since 1995. The organisator of this event is Jurek Owsiak and he organise the biggest foundrising in the world with the characteristic red hart with WOSP which means Wielka Orkiestra Swiatecznej Pomocy. This foundrising is every january since 1993. Millions of Poles are involved walking streets with red cans gathering money for hospital stuffs saving health and lives.
Hey, Mert Pol 😊. I just want to tell you that Agnieszka wrote this song when she was 19 years old 🥰. It's very amazing because the words to this song are so fucking smart 😍🤩. And when she received her award, she told her teachers, "Fuck off." It was sensational
You should check out Sabaton, a Swedish band singing about Poland but not only, mostly war related stuff. Songs: 40:1 and Uprising (live versions from Woodstock) also Winged Hussars - it's awesome!

One of the iconic Polish songs. Still, many years ago (was it 2004? maybe just a few years later?) I remember another Polish rock (?) band "Lady Pank" perform "Marchewkowe pole" (literally: "A field of carrots"; it's also one of the iconic Polish songs, it's title and lyrics may sound stupid, nevertheless...) in front of thousands of people gathered in front of the stage. Everyone was shouting the lines of the song instead of the band. Imagine thousands of grown-ups singing in-tune such a song... "Field of carrots is around me/I feel the best, when I'm in the field of carrots/Being stuck like a vegetable in that field of carrots/My head down, like (if I was) an ostrich/Wanna meet me? Put your head down to the ground/Everything can happen/Everything can happen"

react to: Majka Jeżowska - A ja wolę moją mamę #polandrock2019 :) it's song for children, but you need to see how the crowd reacted to it on rock festival :)
❤️ Love this power 💪 Chylińska is great even after so many years. And this "Dobra nie chcę się wtrącać", "Ok I don't want to interfere" xD ❤ they sang for her
The song lyrics is very sad and emotional, about leaving this world on your own terms. Agnieszka was a young person in dark, difficult part of her life when she wrote it. She tends to become overwhelmed when she sings it nowadays, looking back how much her life changed since then and seeing how it still resonates with many people, especially young ones. If you know this little bit of backstory the song actually becomes quite hopeful!
As a teenager, in time of my secondary school, I was at my first rock concert, where she with her band (O.N.A.) was performing. It was in 1997, and there were also such bands as German Rammstein or British Chumbawamba, and other bands. It's nice to recollect teenage years.
Hi, if you want to learn more about Poland, you should listen to two songs of the eighties: "Przeżyj to sam" (Experience it yourself.)by Lombard and "Psalm stojących w kolejce" ("Psalm of those standing in line) by Krystyna Prońko. Both are brimming with emotions which you will understand even without translation, although of course the help of a translator would not hurt. Every time I listen to "Przeżyj to sam" I have tears in my eyes, I experienced it myself.
Damn... I was there but not on this perticular performance. You should go and experience this festival. Learn about it and you may enjoy it more :) I am crying now cuz I feel ashamed I wasnt there, propably I was too drunk or high or both . PEACE! ZARAZ BEDZIE CIEMNO!!!
This song is very good, her voice incredible, but personally i have mixed feelings about her. For a long time of her career she was "bad", different, rock star and i really liked that character of her. Then after a short moment of silence she completely changed her style and became a pop-star. There are some songs nice new songs, but they arent that "classic" anymore, i know it's her voice, but have no idea about the song nor know the lyrics.
I agree, she is having a great personality, and it's a pleasure to hear her, always. This song is asking a question "Was it worth going crazy like that?" and it's a song we all were listening again and again, so everybody know the lyric. Fun fact: when she was young, she was dressed like a tomboy, and when she earn her first big money in a carieer, she go to the shop and wanted to just see a boots, and the shop assistant told her "why? you can't aford it". She immediately bought them even thougt she didn't liked it after all, just to make this lady mad.

Maybe it would be worth for you to visit our Poland Rock Festival (former woodstock) and meet all these people live. There is no other place like this in the whole world, and there are so many positive people in one place. This year is the 30th anniversary of the festival, we are counting on some cool bands, but it is most about the people, it is the people who create this festival and the atmosphere. See you mate! ✌🇵🇱
It is sooooooo great to look at Scottish person listening to Polish music and loving it even when you can't understand the words that was me before I learned English language
She is happy, beczuse people sing her song. Chylińska was big queen rock music in my country, but now she sings only pop music, normal music, it isn' t special.
Lol you should have listened to the studio song first.not live 😂cause the audience does her job Also preferably watch songs with subs so you can know what it is about. But yes. Agnieszka has quite a bit of songs who are so well known and loved.
She had a rough life, but she never gave up, she has forged her emotions, her pain into a really strong kind of music, that once heard, lyrics are just written into your brain, thats why everyone can sing it. She deserved to hear it, must have been amazing feeling to experience that kind of bond with such a big crowd
You need to watch this song studio version also. She has one of the most powerfull rock female voice in Poland and now crowd was singing this part

When will I leave here
Then I know, that my eyes won't even blink - no
I will leave quietly, because I want to
And I know, that I will be alone then

I will want to know this one truth
Before I fade away, before I will disappear on my own
I will finally hear what I want
Was it worth going crazy like this all your life?
Was it worth burning out like I did?
Was it worth loving so much?
Can I leave now?
I don't want to regret any moments
Although I know it wasn't rosy
I don't want to leave any tears
Although I know it hurt sometimes
I will smile at my thoughts
I'll kiss all the shine off you - like this
I will slowly lock the future
Asking myself again and again
Was it worth going crazy like this all your life?
Was it worth burning out like I did?
Was it worth loving so much?
Can I leave now?
No regrets
Was it worth going crazy like this all your life?
Was it worth burning out like I did?

Agnieszka and the band she sang in, O.N.A., are very popular in PL. My favourite song is "Drzwi", but I know a lot of their songs by heart.
Check please A. Chylińska and K. Nosowska "Angelene" MTV unplugged, I think You will like it. Big
hi! could u react to "krakowski spleen" by maanam, it's imo one of the best polish sons and its singed by a legendary polish singer called Kora [*]
I was there, but still have goosebumps while watching this :D
Her voice and type of singing is just unike
You should listen to PJ Harvey cover by Nosowska and Chylińska 🤯
sabaton - 40:1 Live Woodstock Festival 2012
Another Polish rock from Woodstock (now it's called Pol'and'Rock Festival): th-cam.com/video/NpZHBMjyzN0/w-d-xo.html
It's called Jolka, Jolka from Budka Suflera
I love how she in 3:57 says "Sorry for interrupting you" 😃
react to: Majka Jeżowska - A ja wolę moją mamę #polandrock2019 :) it's song for children, but you need to see how the crowd reacted to it on rock festival :)
Try "Angelene" with Agnieszka and Kasia Nosowska!
She is a living legend, her voice is unique. Every time when I'm listening to her i got goosebumps. I Love Agnieszka Chylińska🥰
Agnieszka Chylińska .. cóż
jest jednym słowem
LEGENDARNA;)
listen, winna
from agnieszka
the same festival
This was cool. For the next one I would recommend Edyta Górniak Eurovision 1994 - beautiful voice.
Tadeusz Nalepa & Dżem - Modlitwa (1987) świetny utwór,polecam.
It's Poland Rock festival (previous Woodstock) played in Poland every summer constantly from 36 years!
For sure not so long. Sb above mention 1995.

ANATHER AMAZING POLISH ANTHEM: EWA FARNA - ARAHJA (Jest MOC i CIARY!)
One of a kind Polish festival. F*** awsome! Just go there and meet that people.
Yes, she is the queen of rock. If you're curious about mixing genres of music, this is worth a listen: MIOUSH SMOLIK NOSPR - Wizje feat Piotr Rogucki

Really, I think you should come to Poland and experience it yourself if you can. Polandrock is just pure love, music and magic

Kto nie żył w tych czasach nie zrozumie tych słów! Benzyna była na kartki, ale była prawdziwa przyjaźń i nie było takiego skurwesyństwa jak teraz !
To przebój lat 90tych.

Being popular and loved be like ;) I feel sorry I just started discovering your work, but I like your channel so you got one more subscriber from now :) Best of luck, bro !
What did she actually get paid for! The audience did almost all the singing for her! ;)
Please react' Nocny Kochanek - Zdrajca Metalu #Woodstock2017 :)
It is sooooooo great to look at Scottish person listening to Polish music and loving it even when you can't understand the words that was me before I learned English language
She is happy, beczuse people sing her song. Chylińska was big queen rock music in my country, but now she sings only pop music, normal music, it isn' t special.
Lol you should have listened to the studio song first.not live 😂cause the audience does her job
Also preferably watch songs with subs so you can know what it is about.
But yes. Agnieszka has quite a bit of songs who are so well known and loved.
Try listening to 'O.N.A - Winna' you`ll hear how powerful her voice is ^^
Can i please see your reaction to cover of Janis Joplin - Cry Baby by Natalia Sikora? Or have you’ve already made a reaction video to her audition?
She had a rough life, but she never gave up, she has forged her emotions, her pain into a really strong kind of music, that once heard, lyrics are just written into your brain, thats why everyone can sing it.
She deserved to hear it, must have been amazing feeling to experience that kind of bond with such a big crowd
