ohhh great idea. I made some last year but just freezed it. Every time I drive by our apple place here I am looking for the $5 bag of windfalls they put out front. When they do I'll make a batch of these for sure!!!
Oh you should definitely try it! I had a half quart that I didn’t process and had it over real vanilla ice cream! Soooo good 👍🏻 and you can use it for pies 🥧 or apple cobbler or really any apple dessert 🍨 😋
Hi! I added the recipe in the description box. The recipe calls for 6 quarts of apples. The quarts to cups conversion is 1 quart equals 4 cups, so about 24 cups of sliced apples. Once the filling became thick I added the apples. In the video I show when I added the apples. I turned off the heat then folded in the apples. I hope this helps 🥰
Hi Susan, I am not sure if using Stevia for canning is safe. I’ve never canned anything with Stevia. Sorry I wasn’t more helpful. Research the USDA book of canning or Ball canning to see if there are recipes for canning with Stevia. Thank you for watching. 😊

I'm diabetic and need to use Stevia instead of sugar. Would it be the same amount of Stevia as sugar?
