in the book petyr didnt betray sansa so she would have no reason to execute him so thats just from the show, i believe the show either killed him for budget and time cuts, OR he is alive and that was a faceless man, that would be an awesome way to make a big surprise its more of a show thing, books dont realy do these ''reveal'' type unless its the ending obviously. so i think in the books petyr is alive, dont forget that they cut a looooooooot of stuf from the book like caitlin got resurected and was trying to kill any lanister she see, she is a biger character than littlefinger in some sense so why would they care.

Amazing work as always, although I think "Game Over" is a tad better. LF being alive would be one of the best twists in the shows history, but unfortunately I don't trust D&D to write such a twist anymore. I just hope Martin will do him justice (if h ever finishes the damn series).

He wanted them to think that littlefinger thought his scheme (to drive a wedge between the sisters) was working. He has always been a better player of the game than those two and it would be unlike GOT to underestimate that by allowing them to outsmart him. The moment bran told littlefinger “chaos is a ladder” littlefinger knew he was in danger. The difference between bran and littlefinger is knowledge vs wisdom. Bran gave littlefinger all the information he needed to know he had to get away. Bran showed too much of his hand too soon. Littlefinger has concealed the fact he is “no one” as he knows that is his true advantage. Nobody fears him because they know not what he is
The only thing that makes this interesting is sansa aunt who got pushed from the moon door, and it was the only kill we seen from little finger that could cause controversy and conflict with the faceless themselves, but that could have more under the table dealings that dont cause him to take the fall for it in that sense. Other then that I think littlefinger could be apart of the faceless themselves even with his childhood being as connected as it was, and or have developed such a complex from them and applied it in such ways that hes avoided death.
Every other end theory is boring now. If little finger isn't sitting on the iron throne at the end it'll be a waste of a good mind fuck. When you see all of Peter's scenes spliced together like that it's fuckin creepy. He has no doubt where this is all going. It's like he's trying not to laugh at all these people when he is interacting with them. Everybody is working for little finger. Weather they know it or not.

I don’t think Baelish is still alive... Aidan Gillen said goodbye to GoT cast. I’m really disappointed if I’m honest, you can’t kill one of the most powerful and smartest characters of the series in that “humble” way.
