The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is the premier late night talk show on CBS, airing at 11:35pm EST, streaming online via CBS All Access, and delivered to the International Space Station on a USB drive taped to a weather balloon. This felt like a conversation, and I like that.

His concerts were fire. He is so good. I remember going to see another artist and Garth Brooks was opening for them. No one really knew him...it was before Friends in Low Places became a hit. By the time we left we forgot who we went to see and everyone was talking about Garth Brooks. The next time he came to our town we had a lottery system to get tickets because so many people wanted to go. It was when people used landlines and the entire system in the state went down 20 seconds after the tickets went on sale. They never had so many people trying to call out at the same time, ever. Craziness. It's one of the few times I had good luck. I was able to get tickets and they were 3 rows from the stage. It was incredible. We would have been happy in the nose bleed section, but thankfully we were much closer.
honest to god didnt know id love garth brooks but what a good guy. you can tell he approaches things with gratitude.

Smiling bigger than his eyes, that is called joy! Garth is the first one to tell you he still enjoys the ride he's on. He is still surprised every day when he gets that kind of a reaction. It is typical of Garth, if you have followed him, that he always waves with his hat. He was taught manners, anyone he honors, he takes his hat of for, (and that is what he does when he . I think you are really overthinking this TD.

I'm not a country music fan, but I own every Garth Brooks album. And on the nights my friends dragged me to a bar drunk, Brooks was my go to kaereoke artist! I've always said, if there was one musician I could sit and have a conversation over coffee, it would be him.

I watched _America's Funniest Home Videos_ pretty regularly in the '90's. There was a period when they were inviting their viewers to send in home videos of guys impersonating Wayne and Garth (from _Wayne's World)._
One video showed a mother and her adolescent son watching the show and the announcer explaining this and the mother said to her son, "Say, now. You and your father could send in an entry for that."
The son thought about it for a moment and said, "That's a good idea," got up and walked out of the frame.
The next scene showed this man (the father) wearing a suit, dancing and singing _Danke Shane,_ and the camera passed back and forth between him and the kid from the previous scene, standing a few feet to one side of him, wearing a cowboy hat and playing a guitar.
The mother walked in, looked puzzled and said, "What's going on, here?"
The father said, "I'm Wayne Newton."
The son said, "And I'm Garth Brooks."
