Garth has always been that way. I remember a story from 30-ish years ago of him driving home to Oklahoma, and on the way encountering a family whose old car had broken down. He took them to town and bought them a car on the spot. He's good people. 😊

Back in 1996 or '97, there was a birthday party that Sandy hosted for Garth that was broadcast "live" over all of the country radio stations. I was one of the few, but fortunate ones who was able to call in (along with Billy Joel, Karl Malone, Al Gore, etc) and speak to him. He even let me put my seven year old son on the phone to wish him a "Happy Birthday". Before we hung up, I asked him if he would play "If Tomorrow Never Comes". He told me "Sure Mike, and thanks for calling in!". As soon as we hung up, he picked up his acoustic and played the song live for me over the radio! We will never forget and have always been huge fans. What a class act!
Garth Brooks recognizes the importance of loyal fans, and he repays them with kindness. He is willing to get close to them, to interact with them, and to consistently give great performances. May he live, be healthy, and perform for many more years to come.
The thing that makes this so cool is that instantly, I mean INSTANTLY, everyone is happy FOR her. As opposed to some concerts where others would instantly think... "but what about me?"

I saw Garth at the Illinois State Fair around 1990. he was a REPLACEMENT for a singer who canceled. nobody really knew who he was and some got their ticket money back. the racetrack was muddy and no one was allowed up close to the stage. Garth jumped down into the mud and walked over to us in the grandstand to sing. when he got back up on the stage he was laughing that his boots were ruined and a new pair was brought out to him. great show I'll always remember and a great artist.
I can relate. I saw him in either 88 or 89 in South Texas. Everyone kept talking about this guy that could sing his ass off and put on a hell of a show. I was 18 or 19. He delivered.
That's what this country was built on. Respect and love. And God

When I see Garth I know that he is doing great things for the fans. His heart has always been there for them as long as I can remember.
I was there that night. He played for 3 hours…all the old stuff. 65,000 people singing every. word. to every song. It was a bucket list item for me to see Garth and it was everything I thought it would be. He is a once-in-a-generation performer

This is why he has been voted Country entertainer of the year multiple times... not only does he put on an epic show... he really interacts with the fans at all those shows..... have been a fan since I was a Teenager and I turned 50 this year and am still a huge fan.

Awesome Garth. This man is a Country Legend God has given a big Talent. And I'm looking to find my talent so God knows I Love Him. Have slipped fell but gotten back up. God is Love & Merciful. He loves us All. We have to be obedient to Him. Including myself. I have had my upset & downs & learning.

My daughter & I waited in line 2 times just to be told the tickets were sold out. Years later, I had gone to Haiti on a Jimmy Carter build where Garth was also on the build. He also did a concert. In the dining hall, I asked if he would say hi to my daughter, which he did on video. It was much appreciated.
Whatta great guy! Glad for the girl it happened to from where I lived for 50 years! So happy for her! Never once saw anything like that of all the concerts attended back in the day + b4 crippled. Tipping a cowboy hat to tha man, Garth!
