This has been the best setup I've found so far to automatically feed my chickens. If you have Pet Chickens this may be the answer you've been looking for. I know there's a million variations...but this has done well for me. This is the kit that includes 2 feeders - amzn.to/33K9Uv1

The cups that keep water in the bowl ALL the time.....start to stink and grow mold really quick I've found. I still have yet to try the gravity style nipples that can be mounted horizontally....not the ones that hang straight down (they leak wayyy to much IMO).
This is the 36" soft dog crate that you see in the video. On the plus side the see through panels have a tighter weave so there shouldn't be as much dust being output by the birds....On the negative the cloth seems to very tight on this and it didn't go together all that well....but once locked in place, seems solid.

It's super easy nowadays to record video and upload to YT. Here's the items I'm using right now. Just using an Samsung S10 as my camera. I bought a microphone stand to mount my phone on while I record. It takes a couple adapters so you can swivel the direction however you like...but worked out really slick. Here's the components.

Instead of "Err er eerr err. ...it's Eee E E. eeee. Hard to find.. Not as popular as they should be..I've looked for them. I only found one breeder that i would consider. And with shipping..the chicks are about$100. ea. Still might get them this spring, despite the price.

I imagine I could have found some at a local chicken show....but ended up spending about 300 bucks on a brinsea incubator and ordering eggs off of ebay about 8 years ago or so. Not sure I'd be ok ordering them live and shipping through the mail though...prepare for heartbreak if anything goes wrong....take care Lori.

Too cute 😣. I have two roosters who sleep indoors. One never crows for anything he likes to just relax next to me on the floor. They both like to sleep on my lap and get hugs or chill out in their dog bed. I like when they lay on my back when I read comic books, the toastyness is comforting. The only thing is that they're not miniature, they're pretty big in terms of rooster sizes. 😆
Are they litter trained
2 roosters that get along that well is pretty rare.....but i've had a couple that tolerate each other....never really buddy - buddy...but can coexist without always in fight mode lol.

He's like my guinea pig. As soon as you take him outside to play in the grass....he just starts eating grass.
now that is a rooster I can have around here, he is quiet crower. and very cute too.
My Serama boy was a spoiled rotten house pet until we moved to a large property and gave him Serama ladies, he even has little diapers!

I am so in love with these guys! I am getting two on Thursday from my good friend and I'm so excited. They will live indoors as well. I hope my doggos become friends with them.

Oh my goodness, I want one. We have silkie roosters and they are fun we really enjoy them.
How absolutely precious. Lol mine just started crowing the other day and I finally got it on camera. I have one regular big red rooster who started crowing right before my little guy and it's so cute and funny to hear them both crowing after each other. We have neighbors who also have roosters and some days you will hear one crow from each direction and then, you'll hear the tiny crow out of nowhere and it almost sounds pathetic. Lol so darn cute. I'm so glad I was finally able to get it recorded cuz hes seems to never do it unless no one is around. I love these tiny things.

I'm going through a phase right now where I'm really obsessed with chickens, and I really really want some, but I live in a suburb and have a super tiny yard and I'm thinking that seramas sound like the perfect choice for me. If I ever get any, I'll try to remember to update this comment.
I hope you get some!!! I have a small backyard and 6 normal size hens. 6 is a lot for me and the space i have, but I am thinking of getting seramas when it’s time to add to the flock. :) you should also look into quail! They are super small, quiet, and can be raised indoors. I have quail too.
I second the quail. They're awesome layers, and if you get the "meatmaker" variety, you can eat them too! Three weeks to hatch, and about eight to lay. They're quiet and need less space than chickens.
I have both quail and seramas
Quail are more quiet but indoors they only bug your household not neighbors
Quail sounds like wild birds or crickets but not too much
I have a little bantam chicken like that he is so cute! He started crowing out of no where but believe it or not he is now the Alfa!
And here we thought our huge Easter egger rooster would be the boss but know he practically bows down to our little bantam! We call him Johnny pajamas because it looks like he is wearing pajamas 😂

I have 3 little guys, they live in the house with us & a dog. They've been together since birth( now 3 yrs) they wear diapers & go out in good weather to mingle with the 'big girls' I can't say enough good things about these guys. Occasionally they want to fight but mostly they'll just do a little dance then walk away. If 1 is not in sight of the others then the crowing is a bit loud. When we have to be away overnight I separate them in their own cages, we've never had an all out fight & I wouldn't want one, especially if I'm not here. My one guy, Ginger looks like yours! Life with chickens is great!
