Things must have been relaxed as all the lads I know who did the Manx and TT this year have posted vids on TH-cam.. Any plans to go back Fagan? I thought you were hooked
Love these little behind the scene diary videos guys, I've only been riding for a year and a half, so it's just mindblowing to see all that goes into races like these. Technical prep and actual riding skills... Props!
Been looking at the TT race on google... First TT was 105 years ago, and has been every year except a period during the war and a couple of other years. Overall there have been 263 recorded deaths at the isle of man races. Two so far this year have died, sidecar driver Dwight Beare, 27, and motorcyclist Paul Shoesmith, 50 both died on the 4th of june 2016 (last saturday). Fucking brutal. Stay safe out there Alastair, and everyone else who is there or racing. x
Allistair, great candid interview. The advice about being light in the saddle was priceless, hope you've been doing your squats. This race isnt a one time event it is a devotion if that makes any sense. Be smooooth and finish and that is an acomplishment you can build on. Where the hell is bvg, mid life crisis? I thought he would be there hes got camera skills. Keep on brother good luck.
It does sound bloody terrifying doesn't it? Just let the bike wobble underneath you and just aim for the light at the end of the tunnel? Balls of steel, absolutely.
I love love LOVE listening to people who know their shit. 7:59 i'm stuck to my screen with my jaw dropped. And hearing Fagan go "FFFFFF" in the back just makes you realise how serious this stuff really is. Double bloody brilliant.
Al , to combat sun in my eyes I run a couple of strips of insulation tape across the top of the visor. When the sun strikes just dip your head to put it behind the tape. The sun becomes a little dot behind the tape and you can see without frying your eyes, kinda like the sun visor in a car. Hope this helps you sometime.
Good luck and have fun! I'm enjoying the vids. And the info about the track and how to approach it in particular. In case I'm able to make the Mountain Course myself one day.
I don't think you are allowed to film onboard-footage and post it on YT, social media etc. yourself. North One Television has all sales and distribution rights.
I see the weather isn't playing along for the 2017 TT. Here's wishing all involved the best races ever. Here in Canada, the IOM TT doesn't even get a mention and I have to sift through web sites to see what is going on. I hate popular media.
Al, where can I get those bar grips you have on the SV 650`s? I have a set on my bars at the moment, changing the bars, so need some new, can`t find any.
Where do you find all the tuning parts for the bike? Or are they custom made? I´ve been looking for part to my gsx650f and all I find is slip-ons and Dynos...
you can buy SV race fairings from a few places on line just search, I can't imagine this is a 2016 donor, more likely to be older gen, not sure anyone has tried doing it with a new one yet, they've only been out a few months..
Those are GSXR 600 2016 fairings. The whole Gladius/SV650 thing is explained in previous episodes. I think it's a gladious frame and engine and clutch.
Could someone explain to me, because I can't understand them by their accent at all, why Fagan's bike have a new engine and standard gearbox? Is that only his one or all from their team?
All 4 bikes started with 90bhp supertwin engines and nova gearboxes. After the first night of practice and con-rod bolt failures, 3 were refitted with stock engines and gearboxes.
whats the names of your Bike?? Not the manufacturer name Suzuki, but the actual name of the bike? and did you say its a twin? So its a parallel twin im guessing? There sweet looking bikes man. there all in the 70 horsepower range? I thought I heard you say that, just asking because they look like 150+ horsepower bikes. great videos though, I really enjoyed them!
+TheTomster94 I thought he said some of them have roughly 100bhp. I was thinking maybe he was just using slightly less power to learn the course better first
650Dan Hi Dan. 'We've broken three sets of big end bolts" is what was said in the video, so spares were used to replace the parts three times over, before switching to a stock engine with less power. Hope that helps.
This is not as good as the grumbly baron. I'm trying to enjoy the content for what it is and I do love motorcycle racing, but these vids are just very meh. Maybe some slick edits or a standardized format could help, but even then you might become to specialized for the majority of the grumble subs that this channel has. Wish I could give better advice than boo from the nose bleeds. Still subbed though so...something's working haha
i can kinda understand...but... this is not the BvG show, nor is it Fagan for president. it is a combined effort. maybe BvG, since he is not on the isle throw some other contet inbetween, to keep the "not into racing" crowd pleased. yeah, just my 2 cents
As another general reminder/answer to questions, we're not allowed to use onboard footage thanks to wanky TV rights
Is there any place we can pay up to see it, even if later or..?
do it anyway
Do it on a "personal" youtube cahnnel and don't mention 44teeth?
Things must have been relaxed as all the lads I know who did the Manx and TT this year have posted vids on TH-cam.. Any plans to go back Fagan? I thought you were hooked
Well fuck me, I never knew Alan Partridge was so knowledgeable about the TT course =O Another insightful video, thanks 44T!
Love these little behind the scene diary videos guys, I've only been riding for a year and a half, so it's just mindblowing to see all that goes into races like these. Technical prep and actual riding skills... Props!
I'm loving this series, it makes me feel I'm there, hanging with friends, talking bikes... wonderful!
Of the high profile TT TV programs, listening to your interviews and conversations blows my mind more and more about what you have to do.
Absolutely awesome stuff. Game changing videos with passion and humour. Keep it up lads
You're doing a really good job of filling the gap between bike mags and motovloggers - seems you've found your niche; well done.
The way you guys describe being on the TT track makes it sound like a unique experience.

The first TT took place in 1907 although on a different course
Loving the Supertramp
Good luck Fagan, hang on to it! Thanks for giving us the insider view. Much appreciated!
Awesome videos about Isle of Man TT. Loving these videos from box and with all team. Your the best!
Great insight into the TT .....and a great bunch of Genuine lads...... Thanks for taking the time to make these vids.
Another awesome video! Love all the behind the scenes and tips and technical stuff! Keep kicking ass boys!
Allistair, great candid interview. The advice about being light in the saddle was priceless, hope you've been doing your squats. This race isnt a one time event it is a devotion if that makes any sense. Be smooooth and finish and that is an acomplishment you can build on.

BvG couldn't go to the TT because of lack of funds. He talked about it in a video within the past month, don't know which one exactly.
That Yamaha he's just bought might have cleaned him out.

Al Fagan is living the dream. Great stuff mate. Keep it rubber side down and finish the race. Next year move up to a superbike lol
We all get to live vicariously through Fagan. : )
Day 165: still wire locking
+Fatal Fury probably brake caliper or wheel nut.
+Fatal Fury watch the previous IOM video ' a riders perspective. basically everything gets wire locked.
Really enjoying these TT videos
Thanks 44Theeth for the vid! Best of Luck today, finish smooth, learn and be wiser!!! Going to watch it on the live-stream!
Really enjoying these videos! Great work!
Best coverage of the TT :)
Keep living the dream fella! Your 44Teeth videos are "GOAT!"

More great content and insight from 44t. Thanks
Yup enjoying these vids Mr F, cheers bud.......have a safe un tomorrow and I'll wave at ya from the Gooseneck!
Good luck and have fun! I'm enjoying the vids. And the info about the track and how to approach it in particular. In case I'm able to make the Mountain Course myself one day.
I'm really enjoying these vlogs :D
Not much into racing myself and if then it's more rally and motocross but these reports, I enjoy them a lot!
gl hf 👍
Well done in the race today 105mph. The crew look a lot happier in the video than when I saw them in the paddock earlier 😁
Just arrived home! But got to watch you race though! we were sitting on the bank at bungalow, cracking job committing to those corners!
will there be helmet cam? I'd imagine regulations wouldn't allow it?
Loving these videos. Will we get to see a POV lap from Fagan?
I don't think you are allowed to film onboard-footage and post it on YT, social media etc. yourself. North One Television has all sales and distribution rights.
Ah, ok. That kind of sucks.
How did it go?
There's no 4th lap result with your name on...
Everything OK?
I see the weather isn't playing along for the 2017 TT. Here's wishing all involved the best races ever. Here in Canada, the IOM TT doesn't even get a mention and I have to sift through web sites to see what is going on. I hate popular media.
Awesome. Wish mainstream media was more like this.
Interesting to have a break down of how to get through difficult sections. I've never raced but can feel the adrenaline just imagining it.
Al, where can I get those bar grips you have on the SV 650`s? I have a set on my bars at the moment, changing the bars, so need some new, can`t find any.
Was there more footage to the Ariel factory?
Where do you find all the tuning parts for the bike? Or are they custom made? I´ve been looking for part to my gsx650f and all I find is slip-ons and Dynos...
102 mph lap on a gladius....who even knew a gladius had 102 mph in it full stop!
I have one that's set at 35 KW and i hit 112mph (180km/h) on it. With it's full 50KW it should reach about 130mph (210km/h)
Good luck mate, rooting for you
Is Fagan's bike the newer SV? Like the gladius? Also does anyone know where to get those fairings?
Gladius with gsxr fairings?
you can buy SV race fairings from a few places on line just search, I can't imagine this is a 2016 donor, more likely to be older gen, not sure anyone has tried doing it with a new one yet, they've only been out a few months..
Those are GSXR 600 2016 fairings. The whole Gladius/SV650 thing is explained in previous episodes. I think it's a gladious frame and engine and clutch.
Really enjoying the Al only vids.. (not that I dislike BvG's). Keep it up mate!
Greetings from Texas.. Why would your big end bolts not be metric?
amazing stuff. more bike footage would be nice but i love seeing the behind the sceenes
still cant believe that that is a sv/Gladius that fairing has turned that into a beauty.
I think it's blowing the tank that totally changes it, than and sticking gsxr parts everywhere, that tail unit and front look like a L++ gsxr
Would love to see some on bike footage.
Was that someone from your crew that was holding up hutchy on the last corner? Thought I saw a white rim hehehe.
Watched all the tt videos again ha are you racing again this year?
What does your mechanic do the rest of the year? 44T needs more of him.
Please tell me that you weighed your balls before your TT trip so you can do a before and after?
Give us a wave as you go past the marshalling scaffold at birkin's bend tomorrow
great content, guys. keep going!
Very insightful Al, goodluck for the race today :-)
Could someone explain to me, because I can't understand them by their accent at all, why Fagan's bike have a new engine and standard gearbox? Is that only his one or all from their team?
All 4 bikes started with 90bhp supertwin engines and nova gearboxes. After the first night of practice and con-rod bolt failures, 3 were refitted with stock engines and gearboxes.
Thanks for fast answer! I really like your videos. A pity that you can't upload videos of riding :(
how did you all get on after did you all finish the race ?
44teeth in my
44Teeth is your less than three?
+Mike Pop *In* his less than three.
In my less than three.
what is james referring to when he says broken pinion bolts being American im not sure what hes referring to
rod bolts... right lol
Thanks for sharing. What grips are they?
this whole series idea is absolutely blinding, it really is.
Love these. Also,
George Costanza wallet. 8:16
that . . . was very interesting. totally cool. thanks
good stuff, more please!
keep up the good work hope you reach your goal
What brand petrol cap do you use?
I used to be a NASCAR fan.
Nice, been waiting for this

Suzuki Gladius. (Naked bike dressed with race fairings). It's a 650 v-twin
Please get some on-board footage!, A RAW lap would be great!
bolt broke 3 sets of 'biggin holes'? I dont get this, what does he mean.
I think he said big end bolts.
84 HP with a stock gladius with an airbox?! DAMN.
Amazing. 👍
man that red and white bike's front looks so sexy. are there any photos of that sexy machine?
love you Jason
Why don't you have a race engine?
+TheTomster94 I thought he said some of them have roughly 100bhp. I was thinking maybe he was just using slightly less power to learn the course better first
did you watch the video or not. split the crankshaft bolts in the race engine.
+clive ramsbotty he didn't make it clear that the race one is broken so back to stock. They could have replaced parts or have spares
650Dan
Hi Dan. 'We've broken three sets of big end bolts" is what was said in the video, so spares were used to replace the parts three times over, before switching to a stock engine with less power. Hope that helps.
Jack reminds me of Alan Partridge...
Big up the Norwich comment 👍
best of luck
1st time I've ever heard someone say a Blade won't turn. Most say it's the best handling bike...
supertramp bike fettling. yussssss.
Well that sound's easy enough......
That bloke reminds me of Steve Coogan
pfff, cmon man, we all know you've got massive balls. "just let the bike do whatever it wants, simple as that"
ok im a trained "ballerina", trainee ballet teacher and 365 biker on SV's, i have two one road and one customgive me a Shot!!!
Borrow Baron's touring screen. That'll sort it.
Reeeeyaaaal battter
How can you go to the most dangerous track in the world with "limited track knowledge" ?
Having spent years learning, I know the track and where the corners are. It's very different at 140mph

you're wrong
am i? about what?
Not you, op is wrong
These give an honest real feel to something you don't see grounded content of
What does your mechanic do the rest of the year? 44T needs more of him.
