TOFU SISIG | TOKWA SISIG ALA MAX'S | QUICK AND EASY BUDGET MEAL TOFU RECIPE E11

Sharing with you a recipe that will definitely be a hit in your family's table. Best for pulutan and on days you wanted a quick yet savory meal or even when you have an unexpected guests and you don't know what to serve them asap.
This SISIG TOKWA (TOFU) recipe won't strain a pocket and much of your precious time.
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 block firm tofu (tokwa) about 600-650g, cubed (typically found in local market are way cheaper)
• 2 cups cooking oil for frying
• 1 medium white onion,sliced
• 1 small bell pepper, sliced
• 2 pcs finger chili pepper
• 2 pcs bird'e eye chili
• spring onion/scallion (opt)
• 1 Tbs margarine/butter
• 1 tsp sugar
SAUCE:
• 1/3 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
*note: always taste your base ingredients- some brand tend to be saltier or sweeter so adjust accordingly)
• 1.5 Tbs kalamansi juice about 6 to 7pcs/ lemon is a good alternative too
• 1 Tbs liquid seasoning/ soy sauce
• 1.5 Tbs oyster sauce (kitchen staple!)
• 1/4 tsp salt, adjust to your liking (leave out if your base mayo is salty)
*Serve very hot if you have a sizzling plate for a great sizzling experience!😉

I can't resist not to watch this in full, I really want to know your style of cooking this tokwa sisig ala max, it is worth watching it fully, that is how you make it creamy because of the sauce and the crunchy tokwa made it more appreciable to the taste. Wala munang usap usap pag kinain mo na ito mukhang super sarap nito at spicy. ako din po lately ko lang din po nalaman dahil sineserve ng mga pinsan ko na may maliit na kainan sa pampanga (facundo's) na napakarami palang pwdeng gawin sa tokwa gaya nga po nyan kaya inaalam ko pano sya kasi sobrang nasarapan ako.. hope matry nyo po and looking forward po sa feedback nyo..salamat po sa panunuod!🙏🧡

pwede din po kahit wag na oyster sauce kahit 1.5 tbsp nalang din na liquid seasoning. nung nagttrabaho ako sa max ang turo samin sa recipe na yan ay 1 cup mayonaise + 3 tbsp liquid seasoning tas gigisahin hanggang sa hindi na super malapot ung mayo
try mo din lagyan ng luya para mas mabalance yung taste nya at saka chicharon... mas masarap ang lasa nya
di ko pa po natatry maglagay ng luya sa tofu dish and chicharon, mukhang intriguing nga..try ko po yang version nyo..salamat sa suggestion!have a great day po..😊🙏
