Oh, man! I'm not sure what it is about DOS but I remember years ago my parents had this computer with I believe it was Windows 95? Anyway for some games I had to reboot the computer into DOS mode and it always had this... mysterious feel? Anyway that feeling has always stuck with me when using a DOS type system. Personally I think that would be a fun experiment to see what can be done with modern hardware and something like Free DOS. I still dig the rambles by the way and I think a coffee shop ramble would be pretty sweet!
