    This tab is now available in Guitar Pro format. You can find it here mymusic.st/nikolagugoski/78884
    IMPORTANT: Scale names might not be 100% accurate, but that's how it was easiest for me to navigate through this solo. For someone who is seeing this for the first time: I'm showing the scales that are used in this solo. Red dots are the notes played in each position. Blue dots are passing notes (they are not part of the scale). Again, feedback on how to make this better is welcome :D

    This lesson is just great man! By learning this solo, a player can discover so much about music: the chord shapes that are played out, the odd chord notes you are bending to, the blues licks, the the dual voiced arpeggios. It's good for an analysis how you can interpret a solo over such a common chord progression and you can really shape your own finger sound by practicing it a low and lower overdrive: because it forces you to give it your own personal touch, if you ever want to be able to play it fluently.

I thought I'd never be able to play something like this, but after half a year and some of practice I came back to this video from since I first saw it, and I was able to pick it up very quickly! Since then, I've also enrolled in a music school, studying guitar & jazz, apart from my main course of study. Guitar's a journey I've just begun and I'm sticking to it 'til I can't play anymore

I seem to learn better when using tabs, so thank you for posting this!! I think with this, I will be able to break it down into manageable segments, which may make it less intimidating.

    You are my hero. I recently commented on your “time” solo about how this is the best way to learn a solo. You are providing a service that basically nobody else offers. You are clearly an amazing guitar player but you weren’t just showing off, you are creating content to help other guitar players reach their goals and play things they never thought they could. Because you understand that trying to play a solo at its original speed is often detrimental, you were just practicing bad habits. I unless you are already an elite level guitar player, you just have to slow this stuff down. My hat is off to you my friend.

    • @mattlawson714
      @mattlawson714 ปีที่แล้ว

      I feel bad about even making a suggestion because you do this so well, but we often don’t see the next bar of music until you hit the first note so it can be a little bit hard to plan ahead for the notes afterwards, if you could show the upcoming bar just like one second earlier I think that would make it easier for people to play along. This is not a criticism, I love what you do.

    I’m so frustrated because I don’t know if it’s my guitar/guitar strings are just super tight or I just don’t know how to bend strings enough ☹️

    • @andrewvatavu2155
      @andrewvatavu2155 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's possible to do this solo on acoustic. I doubt it's your strings man. make sure you do the bends smart enough. That means when you do bends try to do them upwards rather than downwards as you will have more force, and always try to use middle or ring finger joined by the force of 1 more finger next to it. It takes time, be patient.

    • @zg3342
      @zg3342 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you bend your thumb should be used as an anchor on top of the fret board it gives you an anchor instead of just trying to press up with your fingers alone. Practice some slow and try to use 3 fingers with your ring on the fret you are fretting.

    • @trillrifaxegrindor4411
      @trillrifaxegrindor4411 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      bending takes years..it isn't your strings,its your lack of accurate bending skill.it takes time and a literal fuckton of dedicated practice...hours a day,every day without fail.you need to know how to bend several notes accurately in a single position.there are slight bends,quarter bends,half bends,whole bends,partial bends,unison bends,double stops with a bend and so,so much more.this isnt really a solo for beginners unless you like pain
