When I got my angora (first bun) last year I had to cut her fur short. My apartment was so hot and the electricity was so old that we can't have air conditioning. I put up a cooling station for her, just a mini box fan and an ice pack that she could sit in front of and away from later. It seems to have reduced the amount of grooming she needs. But she's an angora *sigh* time will tell. Her fur is slowly growing back. She also sasses me now when I try to pluck bits sticking out. "Just one uneven" *THUMP* "but its sticking off your..." *feet flick to other side of pen* "OMG, gurl you need to chill out! You're an angora you can't put off plucking and combing FOREVER!"

I have a lionhead angora mix, Pom-Pom, and a short haired lop mix, Lily. I basically could brush Lily for hours and nothing would come out and after 5 minutes of brushing Pom-Pom my nose is STUFFED with lose furr😂😂
