This is really reassuring to hear. I'm glad there are other people who think this way. The part about mainstream music is so true. I don't understand how people (especially girls) can listen to rappers call girls "hoes" and "bitches" 24/7. Many of these same girls claim to be feminists, which is so ironic. You could say I study human behavior and am a people watcher. I find it crazy in this day and age that bars and pubs exist, for example. Why do people feel the need to congregate in a small building and consume large amounts of alcohol just to be social? I do go to pubs to socialize but don't care about being the odd one out drinking soft drinks if I feel like it. People say "You're in a pub, why are you not drinking beer?" And I reply with something along the lines of "Well you can buy alcohol in a supermarket so why are you drinking beer?" Stay strong and never change for anyone! Be yourself in the face of adversity even when the odds are against you. Don't change your beliefs and morals to 'fit in', let others fit in around you if they truly want to be a part of your life.

About the entertainment industry, we live in this hypersexual society where we all are more more uninhibited, sex sells more people are curious so, having those half naked women shaking their bodies is strategy to have more views and sell more while your song is a complete nonsene. If you see that most songs and singers who sings about general non sexual stuff they tend to have less views, less money because that's not what these days people wanna see and it they wanted the people on the top chain of the music industry will not make these people visible. I honestly dont think thee is anything wrong with alcohol, what I think is bad is how people often consume and the reasons of consumption. I truly agree with you on the whole grouping thing that’s goes on in school. People should stop and think. what’s the point of knowing people who are all the same, there’d be nothing new to learn or fresh experiences to have. And to make matters worst, when you try to diversify your friend group it can be quite difficult. For example if you’ve already been labeled as an athlete, non-athletes don’t expect you to have any other characteristics or traits they could bond with. It’s really stupid how people default to generalizations about others. Which in terms causes circles and cliques.

Your first one really got me. I've expressed this to other people who just don't get it. "It's just nice, it's only a greeting." Yeah that's the problem. The people closest to you don't always have to ask you how you are. They know. It's the strangers who pretend that you're friends who do it without a thought. Most people are on their phone anyway. I thought I was the only one who was bothered by this but now I know I'm not. Also the drinking culture is disgusting. When I turned 21 I was taken to numerous bars. Everyone at the bar buys you a drink so you can't say no. I thought they did it because they like me but I was wrong; they were trying to poison me. I threw up and never drank again. I think alcohol tastes like poison. It feels like drinking poison too. It burns your throat and stomach. I lost a lot of friends because all they wanted to do was go out a drink. They refused to do anything else.
There's alot of empty people who need drugs and alcohol to have fun. They're really fun happy and outgoing on drugs and alcohol, but it's fake, when you hang out with them sober they are different people, not outgoing fun or happy. It's sad
I've witnessed that as well amongst relatives and ex Associates. It's a "FALSE SENSE" of happiness, but once the HIGH goes down and The Party is over....they're back to reality and once again looking for that next fix to keep themselves inebriated because they're afraid to face themselves.

Love this video u speaking facts about what really is going on in society today its changed so much on how it used to be and compare to what it is now..how are you today like u mentioned and my experience is that they not genuine anymore they tell u what they want u to hear and not the truth. Music though i can talk about for days especially since ima DJ is nothing compare to before..everything nowadays is to promote an agenda rapping/singing of exactly what u said Sex , Money & Drugs...nothing is positive , nothing is about moving forward but stay stuck doing things that aren't normal to us people that to them is normal which is wrong in many ways...it teaches kids , young adults to continue doing bad things and stuff thats not meaningful...but doesn't mean u can't find good music because u can its just not mainstream u gotta digg harder for the underground singers that wanna make a great change the sad part though that even tho u can plenty choose to ignore that and go for the bad music instead because its "Litt" Because it "Bumps" not knowing what are the possibility that they do ritual's to these music and makes u feel some way and changes ur perspective is wild. Alcohol another subject i can talk about all day many depend on it like u gotta have it in ur system to have fun like no u don't i rather be sober , aware then not be. another thing when this pandemic started everything closed but Liquor stores were open because its essential which makes no sense...but close down buildings that was more important then that. its to show what this world is all cares about don't get me wrong i drank before but i stopped due to the feelings of it under the influence & how the next day makes u feel like crap which i started realizing its all poison it lowers ur immune system too I rather have fruit juice , make my own healthy drink then drink what makes me feel shitty. Luckily too i have 2 awesome best friends one who do drink but only once a weekend who don't peer pressure me they understand the changes i've made to not drink and another who never does. i can't stand those that call u names because u not apart of it they toxic people to be around if they can't understand ur decision. I was gonna talk about the whole having sex and alcohol but u said it all is crazy how common it is more now than before but its all thanks to the music too that promotes it and gives temptations to people ina wrong when they listen to that kind of stuff instead of real love with genuine feelings is screwing them up. I can relate a lot to your thoughts. I'm 19, and since 13 i've lived with depression and social anxiety because of heavy bullying at school. I have basically no friends, not even in social media. And even though i'm introverted, i'm also extremely lonely. I feel like i couldn't live a normal teenage life, for all my life i've been the outsider, the outcast, the weird ugly kid. It has ruined my life. Yes i use alcohol to lift the depression for a short while and i have to drink alone as sad as it is. Yes i watch porn because i've never had a relationship and i unfortunately have a high sex drive. Its like a curse.. No one gives a damn about me, and people treat me like a joke. It hit me the most when i realized that the pandemic basically didn't change my life at all. I have no one, i just go to work and come back alone. Social media is poison i agree, it only fuels my depression and loneliness when i see people on Instagram with their friends and partners and their ''perfect life''. And i'm rotting in my bed depressed. I feel like a waste of life. So empty, that i have to escape myself with alcohol and oversleeping. It’s so sad and weird honestly when I started higschool everyone was 12/13 ( in the Netherlands) everyone was excited about drinking and using drugs I know people how started smoking at the age off 12 I was at the fair with my cousin and we smelled some weird smoke and where looking around to find out who was smoking just so we could go a different way just to turn around and find this 10 year old smoking a cigarette I was shook and I literally just froze

I like that you are very authentic in that regard (you already know how i feel about that subject). I wasn't originally planning on leaving you a comment, especially a serious one.....but I think you might appreciate what I have to say.....so I'll comment on some of the things that you highlighted in this video. --Music: My personal opinion is that society is over-sexed and over-drugged in today's generation. They are also the type that seeks instant gratification. I have noticed that drugs/objectification of women have become a central theme of music...and it is a shame. I personally cannot relate to our generation's music for this very reason. I feel that natural musical talent and also the effort of perfecting vocal prowess is lost in today's generation because it does not sell anymore. All that sells is sex/drugs and fewer and fewer artists focus on working on their craft or producing something that is meaningful. And the few that have stayed true to music are underappreciated and never recognized. -Alcohol: I'm not an advocate of alcohol myself...and am also against the legalization of marijuana. That being said, I would say that "fruit juice" is also something to drink in moderation----very very high sugar content! -Sex & Relationships: I agree with you that porn over-watched and has created unrealistic expectations in society. That being said, there are still some of us out there that do not watch porn and still respect the sanctity of relationships. So I would encourage you to not give up on the thought of a meaningful relationship/marriage in the future. What you decide to do, ultimately is your business.......but I just want you know that there are decent people out there who are kindred spirits. I to a great degree, share a lot of your views voiced in this video. And i am not one of those crazed followers who is trying to "score" or gain anything through my comment. My whole purpose of leaving this long detailed comment was to let you know that you are not alone in this world. Yes, your views are in the minority......but in a world with a population in the billions, the minority can be quite large. So it is my humble request----don't give up on finding kindred spirits or someone to share the rest of your life with! I like how mention alcohol. V interesting bc there’s drinking to celebrate the good times, there’s drinking to relieve stress and worry, and there’s drinking down in your sorrows and pain. I’ll casually drink here and there but I don’t think there’s bun wrong w it until you abuse to like to get away from reality or w.e. I mean have you just had a bottle of wine while going through midlife or existential crisis, hell going through midlife existential crisis is next level but helps you to just laugh at what’s going on in your life while having a pick me up. That’s like the smoking ordeal-people smoke to relieve stress but it can be a great social factor in meeting someone. You go out and have a smoke and someone asks for one, it’s a great ice breaker to getting to know someone or sparking a small convo to pass the time :) I’m into sociology and all that stuff so I kinda read into these things But yeah, from everything you said, I totally agree w you on the whole social media thing!!! I’m not crazy haha 🤪🤩 idk if it’s a low self-esteem thing or I generally don’t care 🤷 🤷🏾♀️ but I’ll take to take great photos I care abt in like a usual first take, but if not, 2 and then that’s it bc the idea is to capture the moment. I was so ecstatic when I found BTS' music, maybe give them a listen sometime if you haven't already :) They take their art very seriously and their lyrics always blow me away. Their music covers many genres and topics such as depression/anxiety, the pressures of growing up, societal expectations as well as the skewed perception of education in their home country of South Korea. I truly don't understand the trashy music and how some people find it "inspiring" 🧐 I honestly feel like porn should be banned. Imagine how the world would change just from that. Plus, smoking and vaping should be done away with. Secondhand smoke is soo dangerous and affects everyone! I agree with you about everything that you said in this video. I am heavily outcasted because i am seen as an boring person because i dont enjoy modern day music or do drugs or drink. Alcohol is terrible, growing up in a house with a alcoholic father really formed that mindset for me. He became rude and there were moments where he came close to physically abusing me, he may have got a punch on me once or twice before. But as I grew I became stronger than him and all he could do was mock me or just be an asshole. I have such strong feelings towards this because there have been so many people in my life that have destroyed their lives because of alcohol. It’s just not worth it yet it’s so accessible and easy to come by. It’s wrecked my childhood and so many other people have been negatively affected because of an alcoholic relative or partner. I just don’t see why it’s so acceptable in today’s world, it’s such an awful thing.

The response to 'How are you?' is 'not bad'. Completely non committal. The chances are in this country you're not really OK. Life, the job, the relationship, mild depression, all are taking their toll. I spent most of my life like it and learned people do not really require any answer, because they are wrapped up the same. It took life threatening illness to make me anywhere near balanced and content with my lot. And things get better as you get older. I now respond with a smile and 'Very good, thank you' and feel that I can return the question with genuine interest and/or concern. I think many other cultures have an advantage here. We were once like that, in the fifties! As for the rest, keep fighting soldier xxx

This is really reassuring to hear. I'm glad there are other people who think this way. The part about mainstream music is so true. You could say I study human behavior and am a people watcher. I find it crazy in this day and age that bars and pubs exist, for example. Why do people feel the need to congregate in a small building and consume large amounts of alcohol just to be social? I do go to pubs to socialize but don't care about being the odd one out drinking soft drinks if I feel like it. People say "You're in a pub, why are you not drinking beer?" And I reply with something along the lines of "Well you can buy alcohol in a supermarket so why are you drinking beer?" Stay strong and never change for anyone! Be yourself in the face of adversity even when the odds are against you. Don't change your beliefs and morals to 'fit in', let others fit in around you if they truly want to be a part of your life.

About the entertainment industry, we live in this hypersexual society where we all are more more uninhibited, sex sells more people are curious so, having those half naked women shaking their bodies is strategy to have more views and sell more while your song is a complete nonsene. If you see that most songs and singers who sings about general non sexual stuff they tend to have less views, less money because that's not what these days people wanna see and it they wanted the people on the top chain of the music industry will not make these people visible.

People should stop and think. what’s the point of knowing people who are all the same, there’d be nothing new to learn or fresh experiences to have. And to make matters worst, when you try to diversify your friend group it can be quite difficult. For example if you’ve already been labeled as an athlete, non-athletes don’t expect you to have any other characteristics or traits they could bond with. It’s really stupid how people default to generalizations about others. Which in terms causes circles and cliques.

Your first one really got me. I've expressed this to other people who just don't get it. "It's just nice, it's only a greeting." Yeah that's the problem. The people closest to you don't always have to ask you how you are. They know. It's the strangers who pretend that you're friends who do it without a thought. Most people are on their phone anyway. I thought I was the only one who was bothered by this but now I know I'm not.
Also the drinking culture is disgusting. When I turned 21 I was taken to numerous bars. Everyone at the bar buys you a drink so you can't say no. I thought they did it because they like me but I was wrong; they were trying to poison me. I threw up and never drank again. I think alcohol tastes like poison. It feels like drinking poison too. It burns your throat and stomach. I lost a lot of friends because all they wanted to do was go out a drink. They refused to do anything else.
There's alot of empty people who need drugs and alcohol to have fun. They're really fun happy and outgoing on drugs and alcohol, but it's fake, when you hang out with them sober they are different people, not outgoing fun or happy. It's sad

Love this video u speaking facts about what really is going on in society today its changed so much on how it used to be and compare to what it is now..how are you today like u mentioned and my experience is that they not genuine anymore they tell u what they want u to hear and not the truth. Racism in the other hand has gotten worse from the way they treat u compare to others , when it comes to getting an apartment u get the short end of the stick while the one they prefer gets everything plus more too much favoritism instead of liking one another equally.
Music though i can talk about for days especially since ima DJ is nothing compare to before..everything nowadays is to promote an agenda rapping/singing of exactly what u said Sex , Money & Drugs...nothing is positive , nothing is about moving forward but stay stuck doing things that aren't normal to us people that to them is normal which is wrong in many ways...it teaches kids , young adults to continue doing bad things and stuff thats not meaningful...but doesn't mean u can't find good music because u can its just not mainstream u gotta digg harder for the underground singers that wanna make a great change the sad part though that even tho u can plenty choose to ignore that and go for the bad music instead because its "Litt" Because it "Bumps" not knowing what are the possibility that they do ritual's to these music and makes u feel some way and changes ur perspective is wild.
Alcohol another subject i can talk about all day many depend on it like u gotta have it in ur system to have fun like no u don't i rather be sober , aware then not be. another thing when this pandemic started everything closed but Liquor stores were open because its essential which makes no sense...but close down buildings that was more important then that. its to show what this world is all cares about don't get me wrong i drank before but i stopped due to the feelings of it under the influence & how the next day makes u feel like crap which i started realizing its all poison it lowers ur immune system too I rather have fruit juice , make my own healthy drink then drink what makes me feel shitty.
Luckily too i have 2 awesome best friends one who do drink but only once a weekend who don't peer pressure me they understand the changes i've made to not drink and another who never does. i can't stand those that call u names because u not apart of it they toxic people to be around if they can't understand ur decision. I was gonna talk about the whole having sex and alcohol but u said it all is crazy how common it is more now than before but its all thanks to the music too that promotes it and gives temptations to people ina wrong when they listen to that kind of stuff instead of real love with genuine feelings is screwing them up.
I Know i wrote a lot but honestly i can relate with u and agree with u on everything u said in the video especially social media which gotten people crazy to take pictures of everything they do , being stuck on their phones and trying to create a persona to make believe they living life the way they post it online therefore makes a fake story about them. im glad that i stay productive in my passion & away from all the toxic i can not relate to many because i'm not apart of it i'm different i remember in high school with the whole group thing is the reason i stayed alone & focused because alot didn't like me since i was always quiet and never attending or acting how many decides to pick & choose like no that's wrong if u treat me well and respect me im treat everybody well too.

I can relate a lot to your thoughts. I'm 19, and since 13 i've lived with depression and social anxiety because of heavy bullying at school. I have basically no friends, not even in social media. And even though i'm introverted, i'm also extremely lonely. I feel like i couldn't live a normal teenage life, for all my life i've been the outsider, the outcast, the weird ugly kid. It has ruined my life. Yes i use alcohol to lift the depression for a short while and i have to drink alone as sad as it is. Yes i watch porn because i've never had a relationship and i unfortunately have a high sex drive. Its like a curse.. No one gives a damn about me, and people treat me like a joke. It hit me the most when i realized that the pandemic basically didn't change my life at all. I have no one, i just go to work and come back alone. Social media is poison i agree, it only fuels my depression and loneliness when i see people on Instagram with their friends and partners and their ''perfect life''. And i'm rotting in my bed depressed. I feel like a waste of life. So empty, that i have to escape myself with alcohol and oversleeping. I wish there were more people like you, you seem like a great friend. All the best to you and stay safe

It’s so sad and weird honestly when I started higschool everyone was 12/13 ( in the Netherlands) everyone was excited about drinking and using drugs I know people how started smoking at the age off 12 I was at the fair with my cousin and we smelled some weird smoke and where looking around to find out who was smoking just so we could go a different way just to turn around and find this 10 year old smoking a cigarette I was shook and I literally just froze

@Anitha Kannan, I want to comment on several things you mention, as a kindred spirit. First of all, power to you---you are consistent and also barefoot in this video! I like that you are very authentic in that regard (you already know how i feel about that subject). I wasn't originally planning on leaving you a comment, especially a serious one.....but I think you might appreciate what I have to say.....so I'll comment on some of the things that you highlighted in this video.
--Music: My personal opinion is that society is over-sexed and over-drugged in today's generation. They are also the type that seeks instant gratification. I have noticed that drugs/objectification of women have become a central theme of music...and it is a shame. I personally cannot relate to our generation's music for this very reason. I feel that natural musical talent and also the effort of perfecting vocal prowess is lost in today's generation because it does not sell anymore. All that sells is sex/drugs and fewer and fewer artists focus on working on their craft or producing something that is meaningful. And the few that have stayed true to music are underappreciated and never recognized.
-Alcohol: I'm not an advocate of alcohol myself...and am also against the legalization of marijuana. Personally I hate when people try to justify their use of marijuana. That being said, I would say that "fruit juice" is also something to drink in moderation----very very high sugar content!
-Sex & Relationships: I agree with you that porn over-watched and has created unrealistic expectations in society. That being said, there are still some of us out there that do not watch porn and still respect the sanctity of relationships. So I would encourage you to not give up on the thought of a meaningful relationship/marriage in the future. What you decide to do, ultimately is your business.......but I just want you know that there are decent people out there who are kindred spirits. I to a great degree, share a lot of your views voiced in this video. And i am not one of those crazed followers who is trying to "score" or gain anything through my comment. My whole purpose of leaving this long detailed comment was to let you know that you are not alone in this world. Yes, your views are in the minority......but in a world with a population in the billions, the minority can be quite large. So it is my humble request----don't give up on finding kindred spirits or someone to share the rest of your life with! I can assure you that if you find the right person---even though everything will not always be smooth---it will still be worth it and will be a journey that you treasure.

I like how mention alcohol. V interesting bc there’s drinking to celebrate the good times, there’s drinking to relieve stress and worry, and there’s drinking down in your sorrows and pain. I’ll casually drink here and there but I don’t think there’s bun wrong w it until you abuse to like to get away from reality or w.e. I mean have you just had a bottle of wine while going through midlife or existential crisis, hell going through midlife existential crisis is next level but helps you to just laugh at what’s going on in your life while having a pick me up. That’s like the smoking ordeal-people smoke to relieve stress but it can be a great social factor in meeting someone. You go out and have a smoke and someone asks for one, it’s a great ice breaker to getting to know someone or sparking a small convo to pass the time :) I’m into sociology and all that stuff so I kinda read into these things
But yeah, from everything you said, I totally agree w you on the whole social media thing!!! I’m not crazy haha 🤪🤩 idk if it’s a low self-esteem thing or I generally don’t care 🤷 🤷🏾♀️ but I’ll take to take great photos I care abt in like a usual first take, but if not, 2 and then that’s it bc the idea is to capture the moment. Loved hearing your thoughts in this way, a good rant can be so cathartic. I agree with you on all these topics and especially the music one. I was so ecstatic when I found BTS' music, maybe give them a listen sometime if you haven't already :) They take their art very seriously and their lyrics always blow me away. Their music covers many genres and topics such as depression/anxiety, the pressures of growing up, societal expectations as well as the skewed perception of education in their home country of South Korea. They are the furthest from those types of things you talked about in Nicki Minaj/6ix9ine's mv (which I've never seen but it sounds gross af)

I truly don't understand the trashy music and how some people find it "inspiring" 🧐 I honestly feel like porn should be banned. Imagine how the world would change just from that. Plus, smoking and vaping should be done away with. Secondhand smoke is soo dangerous and affects everyone! Even if you don't smoke you still are supposed to deal with others killing your lungs and health. I got rid of social media several years ago because it had no improvement on my life and I wasted so much time. That was one of the best decisions of my life! Alcohol is terrible, growing up in a house with a alcoholic father really formed that mindset for me. He became rude and there were moments where he came close to physically abusing me, he may have got a punch on me once or twice before. But as I grew I became stronger than him and all he could do was mock me or just be an asshole. I have such strong feelings towards this because there have been so many people in my life that have destroyed their lives because of alcohol. It’s just not worth it yet it’s so accessible and easy to come by. It’s wrecked my childhood and so many other people have been negatively affected because of an alcoholic relative or partner. I just don’t see why it’s so acceptable in today’s world, it’s such an awful thing.

I agree with this entire video. I have zero faith in humanity and all the reasons mentioned in this video are part of why.
The response to 'How are you?' is 'not bad'. Completely non committal. The chances are in this country you're not really OK. Life, the job, the relationship, mild depression, all are taking their toll. I spent most of my life like it and learned people do not really require any answer, because they are wrapped up the same. It took life threatening illness to make me anywhere near balanced and content with my lot. And things get better as you get older. I now respond with a smile and 'Very good, thank you' and feel that I can return the question with genuine interest and/or concern. I think many other cultures have an advantage here. We were once like that, in the fifties! As for the rest, keep fighting soldier xxx

one thing ive learnt in my spiritual journey and its quite a harsh realization to come to terms with is Everything in Existence is GOD. Everything that manifests in the physical is only a reflection of GOD. The good and Bad people are god. In the quantum/immater/spiritual realm there is no such thing as good and bad.. everything is energy and everything will always have polar opposits. you can not have positive without negative. its the law of the universe. duality.

Yeah, as conscious observers we realize those unfortunate trends in our societies. However, we have to get into terms with it. Safe your own mind at any cost. And sometime it simply means ignoring certain aspects of reality and being very selective of what and who you let into your inner circle.

The joy of the Lord is so much better than any drugs or alcohol. If you are born again, babtised in the Holy Spirit, you don't need or want anything else. Something that gets me high is watching a TH-cam video of Hezekiah Walker, Every Praise. Watch that and see what I mean. One thing that bothers me is when I'm watching or listening to something from years ago, and someone says, why are you watching that, it's so old. My mother used to say, if someone told her why are you watching that, it's so old, she would reply, it's new to me.
