Teamwork in apex is KING. You will instantly play better and win more if you value teamwork over everything. Take the time to get out of your party chat. Turn off the music and silence your environment if possible . Communicate with your team. You don't need to become bffs but having some form of coms is the easiest way to increase your chances of winning and playing well. Its usually pretty obvious who should lead and once that is figured out just stay together.
Exactly, communication is vital in Apex whether it’s the ping system or the headset. In my opinion the mic has to come out at some point, for at least one player on the team. You don’t even need to do big damage in a fight. If you’re playing tight knit with your squad you can think of your damage as a multiplier. Say you get 70 blue on a Horizon, and you comm that. That 70 blue is gonna turn into 140 when your teammate looks, or even a knock if you get your teammates involved. And all you did was get 70 damage. It’s all about comms and the urgency in your voice to let people know your intentions. Teamwork makes the dream work, but someone’s gotta step up and make a play every now and then.
Im a terrible team player because of my aim. No one wants to play with me bc i cant hit shit. Before u say just practice bro, aiming is all i practice & it never improves
@@IDKWHAT2NAMETHISSwhat helped me a lot back in the days when my aim sucked was playing OSU. Also it's about anticipating where your target is moving to n stuff. Worst case switch to controller
@@IDKWHAT2NAMETHISS There’s a couple things you can do. Firing range is one. Work on your aim mechanics. If you’re not hitting shots you’re either uncomfortable or unconfident with your shot. You never want to go into ranked doubting yourself. Ranked is where you want to walk in 100% confident and knowing what you do best. So spend 10-15 minutes before ranked working on your aim mechanics with your favorite guns. Second, it’s all about positioning in a fight. You need angles that will allow you to shoot your gun in a way that you have practiced over and over. Be comfortable from all different kinds of angles.
Especially on console, the amount of times in ranked I queue in with a duo who's in a party chat not communicating with me. So frustrating. Even more so if they make a dumb play, and leave they're party chat just to flame me, when they could have been communicating the entire time.
I'd say Wraith is a good legend to improve teamfights because she requires players to think about enemy positioning, flanking, and rotation. All of those things are applicable for all legends, but with Wraith's toolkit, she can safely do that... If Wraith mains don't DC. 😅🗿💀
I had a friend of a friend who always argued that 3-man swinging everything is always key so we shouldn't be more than 20m away from each other. I tried to explain this concept but he wasn't open to hearing it lol
No angles if everyone is together, and if the person leading the fight has bad angles ur screwed due to overconfidence, there is only a select few who can play like this and lead a bad team to success
It depends who you are playing with. The reason why high level players can take so much space is because they are so individually skilled that there is no issue being that far away , plus thier teammates are also top tier so they can quickly provide crazy support at an instant with good coms. If you or your team isn't that good or isn't great at communicating then staying closer together and playing the advantage game is probably best. Obviously don't take the same angles after engaging but moving and pushing as a tight unit can be very effective.
Owning space is also the best way to gather information to pull off more consistent and predetermined swings no matter the count of people swinging. You can accurately determine how many of you are needed to swing and also in theory your high ground space holders (anchor player(s) are singling out a team for 1 of your teammates being overlooked to solo swing and squad wipe or nade stack. #easy. But yes 3 man swinging is just brain dead way of running through lobbies with little information on who’s about to nade stack or triple swing yourselves. Expect a 4th party and cluttered comms of that guy screaming SWING THIS hahaha
These randoms in masters/pred have zero idea how to do anything talked about in this video and it’s absolutely infuriating to solo q. Some of them can shoot phenomenally well but can’t think worth a shit.
I love the feeling of a good team, but as a solo player they’re super rare, like finding a pot of gold in a dingy sewer.

@@ExodiaO8E That sound slide you are overthinking things
@@unitynow6043 Maybe, I tend to do that as apex is arguably the most complex shooter, but non the less the strategy definitely worked out for me today
you're creating an APEX by covering space
