I need these sai brushes. I can't for the life of me get them to behave like this, and importing them has become a nightmare. So, I've fallen for the Clip Studio Paint and I can't get up XD Paint Tool Sai will always be my one true love

To be honest it depends on the piece, this one was very straightforward and fast since i had the idea clear in mind, but for more complex ones i usually sketch a very generic mannequin and then fix it depending on what ideas pop into my mind !
Damn your art is absolutely beautiful, if you don’t mind me asking, how do you get your lineart to be so smooth, or in general how to lineart lmao, I’m having problems trying to figure out lineart visually from my favourite artists, but since they all speak Japanese and my Japanese is subpar at best So I wanted to ask you!
Hi there!
Most of the softness of my lineart comes from the tool i use (if you use PaintToolSai, you can check my brushes settings here www.deviantart.com/oncha/art/brush-set-741145362).
Lineart is a very tricky process, you'll have to train your hand the way you want to have smooth results!
Coloring it at finished process, before merging your layers, also helps me a lot to make it more delicate in some parts.
