Jason is one of the most down to earth guys I’ve ever watched. Straight down the line and his stories have you feeling like you are there with him.
I remember reading about this capture , what an epic fish and an epic piece of angling for possibly the greatest carp of them all. Well to my mind it is. Legendary angling Jason.
Back when I was a lad (1980's) Amey roadstone used to sell a waters permit for about £17 it had loads of waters on there including colnemere and the lake next to it. some other the other waters were st ives complex, linch hill , orchid dorchester lagoon and queenford lagoon, horncott lakes mitchett mere theale lagoon and a couple of other reading lakes I can remember the names! Amey's must have had access to some good quantity fish because there was big carp in all their lakes at the time!
I was on that ticket, it also owned the Great Linford complex. Red House, Black Horse, Rocla etc.
My top capture ever, great angling, and Jason’s story telling is top drawer too!
