- Do you want to send an email #marketing campaign to all subscribers that didn't open your previous email? This is very simple to do in Mailchimp.
In this short tutorial Gary Eckstein, a Mailchimp Pro Partner, gives instructions on how to select all contacts that were sent a previous email but didn't open the email. Gary illustrates how to resent a previous campaign to non-openers.

Hi Gary, Mailchimp have now changed their dashboard and it's now not the same as your description...however I did manage a workaround to edit subscribers using your guide. Thanks! 😀

Hi Gary Thanks for your clear description. I wish I could do what you showed....Unfortunately when I copy a campaign and open to TO area: I only see the Send to Tag - and in the next line Do not send to (optional) - but I do not see your menu with the tag Segment or Tag. Does this depend on the version or do I miss an update? Thanks for yor answer.

That's great to know. I'll be resending an email in a few hours. Now, if I could know a way to contact people with hotmail email addresses and my emails to them go to junk or spam folder.
Hi Wanjiru, if you've haven't done so then authenticate your email (th-cam.com/video/getEFkPp4NY/w-d-xo.html). This often resolves deliverability issues.

Thanks for great knowledge, please make a video from sign up to click send campain complete process. There are spam decting alert potential in mail chp system. Whithout complete video tutorial its impossible for beginners to lanuch successful campaign. very stressful itnis.

Thank you, this is very helpful. I am facing another challenge where my old subscribers cannot access my new campaings as they are already subscribed. e.g. i upload a free guide to attract new subscribs, so they enter their email address on a landing page, then they receive an email, click a button on that email to access the guide. Old subscribers, even if they enter their email address in the landing page, they don't get this email. It never gets triggered. How can I ensure that everyone is still able to get this email, even if they are old subs. Thank you so much in advance.
On the landing page ensure that subscribers are tagged. Then create your customer journey so that the trigger is the tag that is added (per your landing page).

Hi Sufi, when you create a segment in Mailchimp you may have up to five conditions (search criteria). One of your search criteria will be where the tag equals whatever your tag is called.
@@GaryEckstein Yah, I see that and did it by tags, and selected the email in question and the specific tag and what it is doing is adding in all the other recipients. I had two options, the tags as well the campaign activity exactly as you did it and selecting the specific email. Could you do a video? Showing how to do this with a tagged segment. This is a deeper layer to what MailChimp can do and there is nothing I can find showing how to do it! The logical conclusion still doesn't send to only tagged and unopened. It adds in the entire list.
@@sufanisworld When you create a segment you have the option to select "Contacts match ANY of the following conditions" or "Contacts match ALL of the following conditions". Make sure you have "Contacts match ALL of the following conditions" selected

This did not work for me. I think because my initial email went to a specific segment (as do all my emails - I am never sending out to my entire list). So when I put in the criteria "did not open X email campaign", I got back a way bigger number than I had even sent to...as I think it is applying that criteria to my whole list, not to the segment that I originally used. Can you help?
Thank you for your instruction. I have a question: Is the opens/click rate of the replicated campaign counted in the opens/click rate of the original campaign?
No. The original clicks and opens won't be counted in the replicated campaign.

Hi Leasben, there is usually a link you can click in the message that Mailchimp is providing that will tell you what needs fixing.

I have gone through the link and its talks of terms of policy violation, and after reading through their policy failing to see what exactly we violated because we were doing a test phase and wanted to send a few lines to our company email, that's when it greyed out the send button. That's the issue maybe you could guide me on that.

There is no means of seeing if an email has reached a subscribers inbox.
