There are people in these comments just assuming that the kids didn't enjoy the act, but if you actually listened you can hear their laughs and applause. Just because they weren't all going mental, doesn't mean they didn't enjoy the show. I will admit that the sarcasm is more for older people, but nonetheless it's still entertaining for them.
Is doing one performance for kids that big a deal to you? It's not like he went to someone's birthday party, this was on television. Any publicity is good publicity.
