Hello, the Mack is a 1976 model which was originally a cement mixer, then it was converted into a wrecker and used by Malcolm in the 1980s. It was in service with them for 12 years until it was sold to a Glaswegian recovery operator, and later bought back by Malcolm and added to the collection.
Dear Sir/Madam, I have just had a look on you tube of the museum of old and new trucks. Could you tell me if anyone can come and have a look or if we have to make an appointment to see them? and could you tell me where the place is in the UK ?
Hello, this is actually a private museum, we were invited because our uncle knows the Malcolms through work. However, a lot of the vehicles in this video are taken to shows around the country, you should be able to have a look at them in person at a Truckfest event.
@scottish.truckspotting thx for your kind reply - any footage of the Tunnels caramel wafer trucks? Their livery is some of the best I’ve seen on any artic anywhere.
That is what you call a collection and it says a lot about the familie`s commitment to business.
Something different. Something awe-inspiring.
That was extra special filming.
Glad you enjoyed it Colin! This was actually filmed on a different camera and we weren’t sure how it would turn out.
Absolutely fantastic composition 🤩🤩❤️

Why the blue and yellow?
The blue/green/yellow livery is Malcolm construction, and the blue/red livery is Malcolm logistics.

I’ve been trying to reply to you for a day but my replies won’t send
Finally it worked! Sorry for the late reply, no we don’t have any footage of a Tunnock’s lorry, but we’ll look out for one for you! 👍
🫡 cheers.
