Hi! Thank you very much for your lovely words :) For the background I use acrylic paint and modeling paste. I have two types of modeling paste, one is thicker and the other is more soft. For the background I use the soft one. It is not so important if the background is dry or still wet... Sometimes I start painting right away, sometimes I prepare the background in advance. This reminds me of cake decorating a little. It's wonderful to have it on canvas where it will last, though. What fun art!!
