    I'm keen to try.. my first attempt at impasto flower petals did not go well at all today 😭.. I'll be trying your way next! Excited!

      Yes, you can mix acryluc paint with Modeling paste.

    Well, with your tutorial and encouragement, I have tried again, and I also bought some textured paints. I tried your sunflower. I still think I'm adding too much paint, so I will have to slow down and focus a bit more. I'm kinda happy with it, but I'm striving for better petals!

      Hey, Thanks a lot for trying it out. Usually the ratio of modeling paste and color os 3:1 where 3 parts is modeling paste. Try making petals first with a petal shaped knife. You need some practice before actually painting. And just enjoy the process

    Do you need to wait in between for the layers to dry? Ifnyes, for how long?

      You don’t need to wait for layers to dry for sunflower. I did it in a go. But if you are a beginner i do recommend wait until background dries to avoid mess.

      I have used Level 3 Artist loft professional modeling paste. But you can use any professional modeling paste.

      Hey, You can use Golden modeling paste or you can make it by yourself. There are other brands too such as golden, artist loft, blick etc.
