All these videos were taken years ago. What does Cairo look like today? Some reconstruction, or just a bigger parking lot? I was there many times during the fifty's and early sixty's. What a damn shame...
So sad for Cairo. I spent lots of time there visiting my grandparents and I have lots of fond memories of Cairo. Passed through there a few years back and was surprised to see my Grandma's how is still standing!
Ma’am…when he said that, I REALLY thought he was referring to the unevenness of them 😐 But he’s not, is he 😶 I bout fell off my chair when I realized he was completely serious. Bless it…🤭
no spying undercover These places are a dime a dozen in the US. It would take five times more to restore than tearing it down and building something nice.
The outside might look ok, but the interior could be a disaster from flooding. It's not so much the cost of repairs. It's finding someone competent to do the work correctly, and NOT take short cuts. I had one man quote me 7 thousand dollars to replace some of the facia. Oh...... and this man wanted $50.00 an hour just to watch his son do the work !

This dude obviously doesn't know what the hell he's talking about especially the walkways earthquakes didn't do that they were put there like that on purpose it's called a design
