I think you are the best reviewer of tractors on you tube. You give every make and model a fair review. Very useful for people thinking of buying one of the reviewed machines. I think you are right about the 8S. Massey are on to something for sure. From what I've seen and read i understand that the project started by talking to farmers and contractors who use this horsepower range and they listened to what they wanted in such a tractor and also the things that they don't like in 200+hp tractors. Seems like an obvious starting point but I bet most tractor designs start in the office with engineers and the like, with the end user being an after thought. Put the customer first, simple🙂
Good honest review from someone who actually has operated the tractor and knows what all the controls are used for not just guessing. Massey Ferguson have always had a nice looking design for most of their series. I just bought a 2020 5711 dyna 4 global series built in France. We still have our 135 Massey we bought new in 1967. We’ve also had a 375,3090 and an 8220.
Nice review. Tidy ploughing which the 8s was making it look easy although a nasty ridge in field which was catching you on each run. Really nice machine with the operators comfort in mind. Well done MF, they have come a long way since my 590 days!
I love how it is a mixture of previous iconic MFs designs. The hood looks like it is from 100/1000 series and the cab is definitely inspired by 2000 series😁 And I love they brought back the stone gray color. Previous 7700 generation had blander, utilitarian looks. Newer 8s has better styling. 😁

Cheers Patrick, massively appreciate the feedback.

Cheers Paul. The global series is a cracking range of tractors.
Paul Hudson can I have the375😂 we have a 188 here
well set up plough doing a good job,
Awesome review. You should be more famous
Kudos, you have the draft set up correctly, the back tyres are bulging
As long as I can balance my beer can on the bulge, then she's about right!!

but wasn't the 590 a great machine
Are you going to do a review on the new 5s Massey
It's on its way
Good review 👍
Im loving this video, you forget you have a 6 furough plough behind you hahahahaha

Farmers are quite spoiled nowdays with the fancy cabs and such.
Bestly commended for farming
265HP in front of a 6-furrow-plugh?! Ridiculous! 9 Furrows were economic.
Tractor so quiet it sounds like you're talking to us from a studio
Nothing New with the front windscreen the Steiger Safari Cab in 70`s was the same.
That tractor looks overwhelming to him. Then again he is British so he probably isn't used to big tractors like we are here in America. 😆😆.
It takes more than a little Fergie to overwhelm Jim! We've got plenty of big tractors over here, too.
A farmers office
Ugly yoke looks like the old 2680
Ugly looking tractor. What's happening to tractors these days. They are getting more Ugly every time a new model comes out..
That cab looks terrible
Horrible cab on a nice tractor
If you have been in that cab you understand that not everythin can be measured in good looks
@@tunaritoope2059 Was my point of view. I dont think MF is suffering from it. They have lots of nice tractors as well
