    This always happen in Florida. My brother, Liam, used to live there and got an alligator bite at age 18. Also, When You Are Getting Chased By A Alligator and still chasing you after 3 seconds, Don't wait or try to attack it, just run away as quickly as you can. If the animal seizes hold of you, however, it will likely try to drag you into the water. In this case, you will need to attack it until it lets go.

  • @erisgh0sted961

    Running in a zig zag is NOT a myth, and is your best chance at getting away. Wtaf is this person talking about. The American alligator can run something like 35mph in short bursts IN STRAIGHT LINES. Once they have to turn even a little, it pretty much has to stop.

      They do release, then bite again to get a better hold on their prey. Then they do the death roll. Usually their first bite just catches the prey; most likely a foot or something. Releasing and quickly biting again let's them get a larger part of the victim and less chance it will be able to slip away.

    The fisherman probably got too close to an alligator’s nest or the food source. The way the alligator was acting, it was trying to scare the fisherman. If the alligator was going to attack or try to eat him, it would have jumped from the water, bit the fisherman, and pulled him into the water.

    • @grassfish01
      @grassfish01 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      iirc most alligator attacks on people seem to be since the human wandered too close to alligator territory. Humans are usually too large for most gators (this changes if you have smaller animals like dogs around, since they look more like the gator’s prey). Either way, I’d rather not get attacked by a gator as the bite force or sheer weight can still cause severe injury

      @hobomike6935 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@Alxsthebunney yes. alligators and crocodiles are equally dangerous. The saltwater variants are always more deadly than the freshwater kind.
      With bears, the lighter the fur color is, the more dangerous. Black, then brown, then white (polar) is the most hostile towards humans.
      The exceptions are the *sloth bear,* an unusually dangerous black-colored bear from India, and the *panda,* an unusually docile white-colored bear from China.
