Angels ledge trapping is so insane. He conditions the opponent with side b to stay in shield and then as a mix up he throws his neutral B which freezes them in shield and does just enough shield damage for nair to poke. Very innovative use of robins toolkit all around.

@@braxtontaylor9534 The character need to be this slow, but for the next game they should give him some extra changes, for example make the down B able to destroy a projectile, like a some kind of projectile shield, or give the up b a special functionality when is used in the ground, like using one wind charge to do a jump but with a Elwind hit box without giving him lag and letting him use his up b another time, more or less like a normal jump but with an Elwind hit box. Right know if you use the up b in the ground, you are fucked have 0 utility, only put you is disadvantage, right now is only a mistake that u can commit. Or do something with his dash attack that is too bad. They can give him a lot of little different upgrades (not all at the same time), instead of take away hid weaknesses give him another little tool

I'm pretty sure Zoom is not invincible on the way back (10:46), that's why some people when use Zoom jump out as soon as they appear on screen coming down, because they don't want to get hit by a lucky guess by the opponent on the way down

He really needed to focus on countering attacks than initiating. Robin is just faster overall but Robin is also addicted to spell spamming but has an easier time casting spells.
@@Triggered_7 good one kid but nah Salem should’ve played more patient and stopped panicking every time he found kaboom in the menu, there were so many times where he could’ve went for a ledge trap but instead he wasted his mp so many times due to him throwing it out of no where instead of waiting for his opponent to grab ledge
@@montestephenson18 this match up is going to be mostly even but I say it’s slightly in hero’s favor, the best spells in this match up will be bounce and acceleratle and that’s for most projectile match ups imo, like at 3:55 instead of Salem trying to fight with acceleratle he should’ve just used his menu and tried to fish for bounce or another up grade as he is at very high percent, he probably could’ve gotten kaboom and used it when angel was jumping, also at 9:04 notice that he had a flame slash, what I would’ve did there was try to read his ledge options to set up for a kill or potential edge guard, I felt like Salem wasn’t using his tools to the best of his ability, small mistakes like that costed him his games, and the last one is that at 6:29 Salem was aligned at the middle of the stage which is perfect for a kaboom edge guard situation, I would’ve fished for kaboom and punished his ledge option on reaction since kaboom can cover all options if you get your timing right, since I have a modded switch I can test out timings of certain moves without having to keep searching through menu all the time but I recommend that you learn your accelerattle combos and figure out how to DI robins combos optimally, since I rarely find any good robins I’d mostly struggle from inexperience but this match up looks hard because shielding is nerfed due to robins spells, just know that accelerattle is a great combo tool from 0-90 and down throw fair can kill confirm at any DI, and be patient with your menu
