"The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is a motion-based 3D dark ride located at the Islands of Adventure, Orlando and Universal Studios Japan, Osaka theme parks. Built for Islands of Adventure's opening in 1999, the attraction is a hybrid ride combining special roving motion vehicles with 3D projection, elaborate physical sets, and both practical and tactile effects.
The ride takes park guests-turned-last-minute-reporters into the world of Marvel Comics' Spider-Man, and after boarding a Daily Bugle vehicle known as the "Scoop", the rider learns that the evil Sinister Syndicate has captured the Statue of Liberty with an anti-gravity gun. This evil group is made up of many famous Spider-Man villains, including Doctor Octopus, Scream, Electro, Hydro-Man, and the Hobgoblin.
The attraction took three years to produce, with many new technologies and techniques being developed. The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man has been well received, winning several awards including the Golden Ticket Award for Best Dark Ride for twelve consecutive years." ~ Wikipedia.org

0:40 Gotta love how even this short commercial shows the heart of spider-man with how he looks over at the kid and gets that second wind to best doc ock. Whoever made this really understood the assignment.
I remember seeing this promo in the VHS of Babe: Pig in the City. At the time, I only knew the hero Spider-Man, but not his rogues gallery. But seeing this now, Universal really did a great job with advertising this park.

This was one of the first advertisements I ever saw for a ride at a Universal theme park.

I remember this commercial from Babe Pig in the City VHS.
I remember seeing this on the VHS of Babe: Pig in the City when I was little! Who else loves that movie? Also, this was the first time I ever saw Spider-Man at all.

I love that this commercial is also a reference to the Twilight Zone episode: Nightmare at 20000 Feet! Not only was commercial awesome, but the ride delivered the thrills promised as well! Still my favorite ride I've ever been on!
This commercial gave me Chill's the part where doctor octopus is trying to fight spiderman while struggling ,and his arms tried to break the window of the plane brings me back middle school memories.
