- Took this video just outside my front door as the hail danced off the roof of my house. Looks like rain, feels like rocks, but it's ice. Lots of little ice crystals dropping at approximately 45 degrees fahrenheit air temperature. Very strange to get a cold hail storm on May 8th in Fairmont, West Virginia.
