Thank you! 😄❤️ I go to a website called “colorcodedlyrics.com” so that I can copy and paste the lyrics into Google docs. I then go to a lyric video on TH-cam and think of my translation from that but I sometimes check other websites/videos too to see if the lyrics are similar or if there is something that could be worded better. I then look at each line and literally re-word/type out the line again that I’ve already copy and pasted so I can have a look at the lyrics around it and maybe create a story for the song that way. :) I find that singing the Korean and then the English out loud is the easiest way to know if my translation flows well or not. The time depends on what the song actually means and how well-translated the Korean is into English, since some songs that are more poetic take longer to make flow when writing. Sometimes it takes an hour or a few hours over a couple of days to really think of something good, especially when you’re having a serious case of writer’s block.
