As a sufferer of SPD I was hoping this video would be helpful but it seemed targeted towards therapists instead of patients, which is quite frustrating

I think they have some other videos that are more patient focused

Because they are advertising the star institute. People don’t hv love and compassion for anyone besides themselves

I am an OT and my caseload has gradually shifted to more and more adults (college-age and older adults as well) that are challenged by SPD. Am going to explore some of your materials on your website. Definitely appreciated your comment on getting professional supervision to support your work as a therapist. I have found that immensely helpful but something I have had to actively seek and pursue from outside my clinic since my coworkers are not working with this population (we’re mostly an outpt ped’s sensory based clinic). Have done so much “outside my wheelhouse” education as well.

im almost 15 and ive had problems since a young kid and they involve my touch hearing and even temperature. when im warm im comfortable but when cold i literally tremble even if its just an air conditioner. i cant touch towels and alot of fabrics after showering. most bother me even when i didnt just shower or wash my hands. alot of loud noises frustrate me including vacuuming and things of that sort including when ppl are loud. i dont know if i have spd or maybe even another thing

I'm a (chemical due to cancer) menopausal adult and finding either I'm having more troubles, or because I'm learning about SPD and these issues, I'm noticing them more. Are you still doing the webinars? I am not on insurance and looking for resources that I can do by myself.

Shut up and get on with it, I'm not bothering about what you do or where you work. Get on with it and get to the point.
