Onslaught were good as well, not in the same class obviously or even close, but Jim the bassist gave me an access all areas to see them supported by Annihilator in the Astoria, London in 1989 and was well appreciated. Both bands were great and Onslaught gave them a good sound and use of the stage. We hung out with Annihilator after the gig, cool guys. I have to say though that Jim Hinder of Onslaught is one major class act. I met him in a bar during the day outside a venue in Dublin he was playing that night. I told him I was into bass playing and he put down his pint and took me into the hall to play on his new bass - how cool is that? Smashing bloke.

Hey thanks man for downloading this, it takes me back in time. 1988 and the first Canadian thrash band I'd ever heard. The band of the first two albums will be hard to beat. I've loved metal since I was a child in 1980 with Iron Maiden and UK Metal, and people like you keep the flame burning. Great job

Annihilator 1989 was one of the best live band ever. Epic. Most of the people left after them and Onslaught played in front of ten people.

Saw them on their first North American tour with Testament. Have been a fan ever since and own their entire catalog on CD.
Saw them open for Testament in Los Angles at a small club. One hell of a show. Blew them out of the water IMO and have been a fan ever since.
