Watching a pro with thousands of hours get so genuinely excited about the game makes me want to go and play lmao, nice game
What a freaking game! I was already excited to make Byzantines my main civ, but this game has me drooling over the idea! So many interesting options! Who needs other civs when you can just recruit some of the best highlight units from all the rest of the world. Love this civ design, and the late game gameplay was so incredibly interesting!
Im so hype for this release. Been watching your youtube but not playing AoE4 myself until the expac comes out. Feels like an entirely new game from a year ago and its overwhelming being at plat/diam mmr but not knowing how all the English stuff works now xD. Thanks for the great content!

What do you think about making the cisterns towers too? I find it hard to use it out of the base, but HRE get bonus gather everywhere. How many times have you wished you could have enhanced keeps and wood and mining on a gold or resources rich site?
Maybe at level 5 they become canon mangonel emplacements?

just like i was trying byzantine i mean why use gold for cataphacrs or guards when u can just pump those upgrades few altylerry and spam spears with ranged for oil

How do the mercenary contracts work? Do you unlock them once or for every mercenary house?
So are you locked into longbows or can you go longbow + keshik?
unlocked only once, afterwards you can only build those 3 units.
You unlock one contract, and there is no going back in that match
Why do pro players not build stone walls? Is it because palisades are just faster to build?
Stone walls are expensive and stone is saved for keeps usually
I feel byzantines a little slow at the beginning, also they need 2 tc or is only my perception?
They play well on 1tc too!

The devs are wrong in introducing a 5th resource and give byzantines the ability to recruit the best siege from other civs !!! Why ??? It is a terrible expansion pack mark my words.
