Making a FLOUNDER Sandwich - Spear n' Cook Fish!!

- Another spearfishing adventure in Hawaii! This time I was really off my game (no, it was not the speargun). I was so off my game that I could not hit a big, flat fish laying perfectly still on the bottom! Luckily, flounder rely on camouflage instead of getting away so I got a second shot. I turned this bad boy into a flounder sandwich that was tasty, but the bones make it hard to fully enjoy this fish. This is probably the last PEACOCK FLOUNDER I will spear. I hope y'all enjoy this spear n' cook videos!

These peacock flounders are really really expensive here at the Asian market they get like 30$ a pound for the farm raised ones and 40$ a pound for the wild caught variety

Well actully when sea turtels see sharks they turn their shell to the teeth of the shark and And sharks see that the turtle cannot be eaten they will leave the turtles alone

Hey Ace, love the videos. Flounder has got to be my #1 favorite salt water fish, if you ever decide to catch one again and want it 100% boneless the "proper" way to clean a flounder will give you 4 boneless fillets. You make a slice along the lateral from the head down to where the tail fin starts but no further, then take a sharp fillet knife and starting from slice along the lateral line make many long angled slices running over the bones slowly working your way to the edge of the fish. Make sure you're always slicing away from where the lateral line of the fish is. Keeping these fillets attached by the tail makes it easier to take the skin off your fillets. You'll end up with 4 fillets (the belly side fillet always being smaller) that are completely delicious and bone free ! Keep up the awesome content !

Never been spear fishing but when you paused it I said to myself “that’s going to go right” and sure enough it did😂. I’m sure it just comes with practice. You got this Ace. I still enjoy the content and will always watch🧡
Edit: as a Christian I respect the fact you edit your prayers out. Sometimes you include them, and sometimes you don’t. It doesn’t make your content any more or less great. Thank YOU for taking the time to record and edit.

Next time when your taking the flesh of the flounder go and make a straight line along the spine and then swipe the knife to the side of the fillet and you get 4 clean fillet
