I am absolutely on the edge of my seat waiting for DB's reaction, which undoubtably will be an instastory post of her wearing an oversized sweater, fake crying in slightly less makeup than usual, and saying "women should uplift eachother...blah blah blah...bullying is bad...I'm now getting threats from trolls" or whatever
Love your podcast. Thanks for reading all the books... and giving me something to talk about with the woman zapping my body hair the other day when she asked me if I had read Green Lights. I hadn't but thanks to you, I had enough to say about it to be cool. :)
Girl you are way to cool and down to earth to be giving your money to brandy melville! But i know their basics are just easy to get a hold of/also affordable and go with everything so i also understand.
I am on my knees BEGGING for you to read Jake Paul’s memoir for a week where you just want to laugh and be mean. There isn’t anything for an English professor to analyze but it is such a wonder that I think everyone should read it at least once.
Y’all are acting like she was going for her Pulitzer in this book. Clearly, it wasn’t meant to be Michelle Obama’s becoming. It’s a ditzy little book for fun, and I liked the casual tone and name dropping. I wanted to read a NYC tabloid-esque type of story. It gives a sex and city feel she was going for. If I wanted to read a serious memoir about vulnerabilities and depressing life crises, I would have picked one. This was a lighthearted book.

Also, I know it’s ancient at this point but I think Just Kids by Patti Smith would be so fun for you guys to do an episode on!!!
The explanation of We Wore What had me cackling...
I don’t know the author, yet this is the best book review ever 😂
They mentioned you on @KFCRadio and this isn’t my normal pod type but here I am watching this whole thing.
