If you want to know why you got destroyed by the bots, they recently had a bug fix a few months ago, so yeah, they're really good now.
unlimited boost doesn't work as well as the SuperchargedBots script in the RLBotGUI

this made me think of a cool idea. so similar to how a hydra works, you make the nexto bots multiply every time one is killed, but it’s also demo on contact.

Probably in a similar way to the way he and friends play on custom maps. He has a vid about it somewhere.

@@vague2718 I didn't think you could link it whilst using bots because it's ran outside of RL and requires the rlbot program
I use Hamachi, i'm sure Leth uses the same thing. Lets you make a spoof local server pretty much.

To be honest I feel like its Harder to face the bots when there's another player on their team because you know kind of how the bots play, and you know kind of how the players are playing, but they play very differently it's hard to know what's going to happen

You should combine the army of nectos concept with the 100 bots with powerups. That would be a sick video

Necto can't play Rumble.
1. The RLBot Api has no way for a bot to see what powerup it has for some reason, so no RLBot can play Rumble effectively.
2. Having an ML bot train rumble as well as the main modes might mess up its performance in the main modes since they are so different. You'd probably need to make a dedicated version of the bot for rumble, which most devs aren't interested in doing it seems.

Ok so idk if it's possible but you team up with someone against Nexto bots. Demo on contact and friendly fire is on. Every time a Nexto is demoed it spawns 2 in its place.

When Tecko gets released I'll be excited to see you go against them, however seeing this I still don't think nexto is at full potential I've 1v1 Nexto many times and this is no where near the level I see, for me Nexto can air dribble/double tap and his flicks/fast aerials are insane.
Sad news, tecko was abandoned a few weeks ago because of bad improvement. But there is a bot called Ragnarok and it’s expected to go beyond nexto and possibly ssl. It’s training is being streamed on twitch

The main issue with Nexto imo is that it learned to play against its current version, together with its current version. It means that it's not used to different styles of play. It's probably what affects its decision making. It also means that if the Nexto team "raises" several Nexto with different styles, maybe by adjusting its rewards, they can get Nexto close if not beyond the realm of pros.
they'll start beating pros within months
That's probably also the reason the Nexto + Necto combo seemed so deadly, since they play quite different. Nexto e.g. is up for every air battle while Necto atays mostly on the ground.

1. Change your name and play as the bot in 1s or 2s, you can choose.
2. Have one of the boys play each other or mix it up.

Most people don’t fully realise how big of a skill gap there is between grand champs and pros. It’s like if a bronze were to verse a diamond, not even close.
