आजकल TV के प्रायः सभी संगीत कार्यक्रमों में अक्सर प्रतिभागियों की योग्यता पुराने गीतों के द्वारा ही निर्धारित की जाती है. ऐसे संगीत कार्यक्रमों में आजकल के गीतों का कोई स्थान नहीं होता है. फिर आजकल के युवा पश्चिमी संगीत के पीछे क्यों दीवाने होते हैं ? आजकल के पश्चिमी सभ्यता के गीत केवल शारीर के कमरवाली भाग को छूता है. ऐसे गानों का दिल और दिमाग से कोई मतलब नहीं होता है.
पुराने संगीत और गीत दिल और दिमाग दोनों को ही स्पर्श करता है.
