- NCAA women’s basketball stars Haley and Hanna Cavinder talk about their surprising retirement from the sport and what’s next in their new chapter including their name, image and likeness deal with WWE. “If you prioritize NIL in college, you can set yourself up for success beyond basketball or beyond your sport,” Haley says.

These two had no shot to make the WNBA anyway, so leaving college to maximize their net worth is a smart move. NIL has been a game changer for pretty female athletes. Cavinder Twins made close to 2 million combined last year.

These two are a couple of outstanding ladies.
They’re going to be in a Total Divas reboot in a couple of years. But looks like they’ll be in NXT for now. They seem to have alot of the pieces to be successful in WWE such as being athletic, youthful and marketable. Hopefully they get over in WWE.
They have everything they need to be stars in WWE. They just need to prove they have the toughness and love for the it. This business is NOT for the faint of heart. Hope they make it.
@@robertpalatsky5017 True. But once they go in front of a WWE crowd and feel that adrenaline they’ll probably tough it out. I was at Wrestlemania 39 at SOFI Stadium and the atmosphere is insane. Just imagine the high the wrestlers get from it? Lets see how they play out.

NXT has the best women division in wrestling right now! Not too sure what these blonde twin will add to it! Last time twins joins WWE we got the Bella Twins and the Bella Twins was horrible! So not a good track record! Can these actually be good in the ring? That the big question here!

@@sall4090roughcuts the actual physical training is where all this is gonna fall apart. I think a reality check that it's way more painful and grueling than they think is gonna hit them. They just don't seem to have ANY inclination that they have what it takes to survive that. Being an athlete and being a pro wrestler are to completely different worlds

That means, like they said, they likely have bigger opportunities outside of college and the WNBA, waiting for them now, so why not take it? You know what the WNBA offers. I mean they were already making money off NIL deals in college, so they used that as a launch pad. It's smart, there's only so far a lot of these women can go with the WNBA, it doesn't pay enough. A lot of these ladies are becoming more marketable and using it to their advantage, but if you aren't the 1-3 stars in the WNBA, you probably aren't being paid much.
They can make millions in wwe. Better than 100-200k from basketball. Would be stupid to keep playing

Instead of these student athletes prioritizing going pro they should prioritize their education since they are getting a free education for their athletic ability.
