    It is heartwarming when your daughter give her balloon to the Korean girl ☺️

  • @JustaguyPAUL
    @JustaguyPAUL 8 ปีที่แล้ว +42

    Wow the smile on that child face when he got the balloon is priceless. At the end, isn't that what life is about? Just being able to smile and enjoy the little things.
    The North Korean Government does not represent its people well at all..very similar to the US, China, and every country in the world.
    Watching videos of people living their everyday lives in North Korea is an eye opener for sure, I really enjoy these videos. It gives me insight into a world that I might never be able to explore on my own.
    Please dont stop posting until you run out of footage :D

      I have, and I know that the country had a famine from 1994 to 1998 and that many people died of starvation and extreme hunger, and that some cases in the countryside had happened after. I know that there is a brutal political repression, and I know there is corruption, however, acknowledging that doesn't mean that I have to believe EVERYTHING its said about NK.

      ...and of course, don't film people who don't want to be filmed.

Животных бродячих не увидел потому, что их НЕ ДОЛЖНО быть в городе. Всё опрятно и чисто. Я что, должен верить рассказам непонятно кого или своим глазам? Di korea utara ada mobil tapi jarang,yg ada mobil itu orang2 tertentu aja ... kalau di korea utara itu bukan meningggal karna kelaparan melainkan karna kedinginan lantaran listrik mati pukul 9/8 (kalau gk salah) dan otomatis penghangat ruangan gk berfungsi,maka ada warga yg mati kedinginan...
      Jalanan di korean utara itu gk ada yg kotor siapa yg bilang sih?dpt berita dr mana? lagian semua foto2 dari kota korea utara itu bersih kok gk ada yg ada sampah ....

    This is only a small portion of North Korea isn't it? I mean isn't there a whole different side of N. Korea? Because by watching this video one wouldn't think that North Korea is such a bad place UNTIL we see the other videos...it's like night and day...

      You got that right..I've seen enough and watched enough videos of North Korea and not only wouldn't I never go there (for fear of arrest because I'm a. American) I wouldn't go if they changed their stance on being a open society or got rid of their nukes because it's been decades and the people of N Korea has been brainwashed and indoctrinated for decades about the west and especially the United States so they would have to introduced to society and if I lived around 4 more decades and being 52 I kinda doubt it would I ever go...lol..I'd be 92 haha

    • @Hanna-yn5ou
      @Hanna-yn5ou 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The really awful videos that you talk about - are really old. They are from the 90s or early 2000s. North Korea's economy was dependent on the USSR and the Comecon socialist economic union. When it ceased to exist, North Korea's economy could harldy function. The same thing happened in Eastern Europe, Cuba etc. But North Korea has almost NO suitable land for large scale food production. Additionally they were hit by drought and extreme weather. So there was a massive starvation in addition to everything else. With no money to buy food from abroad and really harsh American imposed sanctions from most of the world, they starved! The pictures from this period : ca mid 90s to early 2000s are shown as "this is what North Korea looks like", It is propaganda and not true. North Korea looks like in these videos. It's the capital - so it's nicer than the rest of the country. But the larger cities are not that far behind. Countryside is a bit poorer. But this is not unusual for East Asia - there are many countries that are more backwards and worse off than North Korea. It is for propaganda purposes that North Korea is portrayed as "hell on earth". It's better there than most countries in Africa and many countries in Asia. Because North Korea does not want to fall into the American imposed economic and military plan - it is the victim of extreme propaganda. As you can see from the comments, most people have fallen for it. The propaganda is very cleverly constructed to make people dismiss anything that looks nice as "fake", "staged" or "elite people" etc.
