Better than how most people say it. Ren as in English is absolutely wrong but it's the most popular. It's just one of those very difficult pronunciations in Chinese. Other examples are Xu, Juan, Xi (yes, that guy, lol) or Quan. Anything start with R, X, Q are difficult.
As someone who as spoken Chinese all my life, I find his pronunciation alright. I mean it didn't cause me to recoil in disgust or anything lol. For me personally, as long as you don't roll your Rs, you're fine. Just relax your tongue and pronounce the name as it is spelled (Ding liren) ... If you want to go further, you could learn the 4 tones, but that is not expected for a foreigner.
