I didn’t want to get rid of my extra matching desk either lol. What I did was place the two extra desk that I had, covered with a cute fabric, beneath my touchscreen similar to yours. It worked as my space to put my doc cam and whatever else I needed to teach from that space.
I always wonder as well. The teacher whose classroom I inherited had file crates, and they fit two backpacks per crate. I had never seen that done, but the classroom doesn't have hooks, so I will be using those as well this year!

Put the TV on the wall with cabinets near teacher desk. Shelves already make you push the desks over anyway.
The built-ins? Thats my library so kids wouldn’t be able to get to them😬
Love 5th grade!!! Your energy is great 🎉
If you don't use the hooks for backpacks, where do your students put them if not on the hooks? A curious mind wants to know. 🙂

Wow! You got a lot done today!! 💖
Thanks! I tried!!😊❤
Can you mount the TV where your greenery is?
They won’t let us mount them sadly
I love the couch!
Thank you! It was such a steal last summer🤗
Will the couch fit in front of the grass wall?
It’s much longer and would go into the whiteboard area which isn’t horrible but the offset of it drives me crazy😅
What do you use as the brick wall?
That looks like "Better than paper" @kimberlyredding5315
