Denis Villeneuve has been my favorite director for the past 7 years. I can't wait to watch Dune 2 and him winning the Best Director Oscar Award and other award-giving bodies in 2025.
The last time I remember being so hyped up for a movie like I am for 'Dune: Part 2' is 'Spider-Man: No Way Home.' The enormous scale and vision of the first Dune made it such a compelling movie to watch and hearing that the scale is going even higher in this one - I cannot wait to watch it!
Imagine how grateful Warner Bros. must be after seeing the masterpiece that Denni created. Absolutely insane !! Any studio that wants to hire Dennis for their movie better give him anything and everything he asks for because whatever he touches turns to GOLD !!! He’s truly up there with the greats like Nolan, Scorsese etc. 🔥🔥👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
My biggest hope for a great film adaptation of "Dune" was always that it would make people (at least all adults going forward) forget about the whole "Star Wars" franchise.
The fact that it is for children and teens doesn't mean it is not for adults too and it doesn't mean it is not masterpiece in itself, like c'mon Lord of the RIngs is for children too, still doesn't mean it''s not masterpiece. So comparison here is very much adequate, I don't know what are you talking about. + Fun fact Denis and Hans ZImmer read dune at the age of 14, I read it too at that age, your point is valid and stupid for that matter and says it film student.
Timothy chalamet is the WORST actor living today. The only thing making Dune part 2 unwatchable for me. THE GUY CAN'T ACT. Hopefully Villeneuve learns from this casting mistake.
I've only seen a few movies Chalamet was in but so far I thought he looked very natural. Denis made the right casting choice. I think he knows quite a bit on what good acting is.

@@compactreview agreed 😃
Denis is the man
Good to see Jordan Peele and Denis Villeneuve hanging out
🤣🤣🤣
He seems like an incredibly perspective, and passionate film maker who is such a beautiful visionary.
It's going to be incredible

Don't forget about Kubrick!
Denis Villeneuve probably is the greatest filmmaker of all time.
No. He's one of the best alive, but he would not say he was better than Kubrick or a number of great directors.
Well, he's definitely up there for sure.
he def top
the best movie i have ever seen and my favorite of all time
this mf is a legend
No comparison with Star Wars please. Star Wars is for children and teens - Dune is not.

I used to think the same thing. Watch bones and all, it will change your mind.
He totally kills it in Dune 2.

Your opinion is bad
