Was there for the last 4 days hoping i might bump into you but finding 1 person in that massive crowd would take one of those mad dawgs . Hope to meet up someday, we seem to be of the same mind set when it comes to USA state of affairs. Heading back to California now where the real crazy people live. Hello again, my question is: can you think of any other destinations outside of SE Asia that might give a similar experience to Thailand? I've done some research on Mexico, which looks promising - maybe Mexico City, Merida, Oaxaca, and Puerto Escondido? Also looking at Peru and Costa Rica.
I would love to hear your thoughts, especially since you've traveled extensively to both regions.
What I love about Thailand is the feeling of safety, the friendly people, the incredible food, the convenient transportation, the affordable prices, and the laid-back attitudes.
Really interested, to hear which countries outside of SE Asia you like most. Thank you!
