Multi pose Indomitus Terminators, re-posing and converting torsos of the new Indomitus kit

The new Terminator kit is really great, but the torsos are unfortunately mono-pose: the torso is one piece with the legs, just like all current Primaris kits. But no worries! There's a quick and easy way to get back into re-posing your terminators, or to use the legs or torso in a different conversion or kitbash.
At the end of the video I also compare the size of the legs from the new kit to those from the old desigs, to see how they stack up. Enjoy!

I have the same kind of saw and need to be brave enough to use it more. Every kit comes with strong and weak poses. Mental note: the weaker the pose, the less you have to lose by cutting them up.

yes those saws are scary as hell and they bend so easily... just take your time and never ever put any pressure on them. And I always cut up the odd poses first! No problem losing the ugly miniatures to a casualty as base filler later on XD

It is a little bit strange that new terminator legs are larger than standard Primaris legs. In any case, same legs must fit in both suits of armour.

Yeah while bulking up they got some extra height from somewhere too. No idea how the firstborn would fit into those suits, maybe they're on stilts inside there?

Hahaha I would love to see someone take a chainsaw to a miniature and actually make a conversion out of that. Now that would make a nice channel.

The new Terminators are a mixed blessing.
The bigger size is nice, but the monopose build is a downgrade.
I bought multiple boxes of the old terminators, because they are so versatile.
I mixed the components with other kits like the Deathwing and Wolfguard to make lots of unique terminators.
More than one squad of the new ones would start to look very generic and monotonous without some invasive surgery just to add variety.
And the new Deathwing box is just an upgrade pack for those same poses.
We can expect the same for Blood Angels, SpaceWolves etc.

Yeah I really hope they do something more for the Assault variants and the wolfguard/BA ones, because just weapons swapping is not going to cut it. Or we will have to start cutting it in that case! 😁
