Love mine! I'm at 1,500 miles on it and having an absolute blast. I'm in Mode 2 almost all the time, and even that is just ripping powerful. I actually really like the stock exhaust, and the intake sounds amazing when engine braking. Couldn't be happier with mine.
2024 XSR900 is my first big boy bike as well, and yes it does feel like it wants to rip your arms off. I see you are in mode 3 currently, after 1000 miles of mode3/2 I tried out mode 1 and I laughed that some people want something faster.
I thought it was gutless when I test rode it.... Then I saw it was in mode 4 so I switched it, and Holy fucking shit did it come alive lol. Accidentally wheelied it in first hahahaha my first ever wheelie. I'm getting one for sure.
Put it on mode 1 and watch out for your soul then also turnoff wheele controll :). You can't feel all torque with mode 3. Then try to make 0-60 with decent RPM xDD
That bike is making a nice sound when it runs!
That's the best bike I've ever owned.

Had mine in 2 my first 600miles. Haven’t taken it off 1 since the new exhaust and tune. The bike is insanely fun! Be Safe!
What exaust did you go with? I'm probably gonna go with the M4
@@jasontobey4152I went with the Yoshimura AT2. I love it.

@Center66lljk
I started on 3 and then went to 1, but settled on 2. Getting the first service done on Saturday. I can't wait to let it loose!!!!
@@jasontobey4152 Yeah mode 2 is definitely the sweet spot. Enjoy it man, and be safe!
Thanks, brother!!! You too!!
Mode 3 still has the same power. It just changes the throttle response. I sit in D mode 2 and TCS 2 as well. 3 is nice when puttering around town

@talhakareem5489

Right!!
hell yeah
My thoughts exactly!!!!!!
Ride a KTM if you want to know what 'rip your face off' torque actually feels like.
He didn't say he wanted to spend all his time at the shop getting it repaired
@@thasherm Sorry, forgot about the requirement for a second (Japanese) bike if you are going to have a KTM lmao 🤣
Believe it or not... 20,000, and I had no issues with my KTM.
@@jasontobey4152 knew there had to be at least one 😉
