    Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly

      Achieving significant returns isn't about volatile stocks; it's about effectively balancing risk and reward. Proper position sizing and leveraging your advantage repeatedly are essential, whether you're a long-term investor or a day trader

      Certainly, many underestimate advisors until emotions lead to losses. A few summers ago, during a tough divorce, I sought a licensed advisor who, through diligent work, boosted my business from $190k to around $720k despite inflation

      The Adviser I'm in touch with is *'Jude Ryan McDonough'* , he works with Merrill, Pierce, Smith incorporated and interviewed on CNBC Television. You can use something else. for me her strategy works hence my result. He provides entry and exit point for the securities I focus on

    Could you make a video what milestones a person needs to meet by 30? I.e. how much to save/invest/put in retirement. And how to decide the ratio among these buckets?

    As someone just starting out in their 20s, this breakdown of key financial goals is incredibly helpful. It's like having a roadmap to navigate the often intimidating world of personal finance. Thanks for sharing this valuable information. I'm feeling more empowered and motivated to take control of my financial future!

    It's always good to have a financial plan, no matter the age group, This is opportunity newbies and intermediate traders should capitalize on, it's a shame a lot can't see this.

      Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.

      indeed, most people downplay the roles of financial planners until burnt by there mistakes. Productivity is optimized and keeping up to date strategies and analysis makes it more lucrative. I've been able to navigate the volatilities and scaled up 880k from 220k with professional guidance.

    I am hitting the Milestone of Retirement. A little comforting words for all you younger people out there, things will get better. Bad times don’t last forever. That said I have my own Rich BFF she is suggesting, demanding I retire, she’s a CPA and has analyzed by finances.
    That’s nice but I am kind of scared, going from a known salary to a unknown one, it kind of like be young again, oh well young can be fun. I guess I can max out my investments investments and sock money away and work a few more years, until
    My retirement investments get larger, and retire.

    Think number 4 shouldnt be a thing paying rent on your own is a waste.Allocating it with family or roomates is a better way to reduce costs and gain assets this way you have others paying rent to you being a landlord and following this advice .

  • @rachelhobbs6189

    I love this video! I will say though, its a trip to small claims court to settle a landlord dispute over a security deposit and I’ve never chosen to do that even if I think the landlord took way more than their due. It takes time and some money to get that money back, sadly. And sometimes I’m not even living in that city anymore so it’s even more time and money to get it back. In some sense I think a better policy is to carefully vet your landlord to avoid getting into that situation in the first place. Sometimes medium sized corporations are good or an individual landlord who you know is really nice and won’t scam you.
    Great video!!❤

    You skip the part where you need to make your sofi account your direct deposit account or deposit 5,000 a month to get that high interest on the savings account.
    I'd personally recommend people open a savings with discover for a little lower interest but no bs involved. Or if people want a big brick and motar bank Capital one offers a competitive high yeild savings account as well next to discover

    Thank you for all your wise advise Viv. Is a Roth IRA better than a regular one for a new professional who will likely have a higher tax bracket as one gets older? Wouldn't it be better to pay the tax now while the tax bracket is lower? Please advise.

    • @myhallyulife
      @myhallyulife ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Im not a financial expert or anything but yes in theory a Roth IRA is better for someone who will be in a higher tax bracket in the future. With a Roth IRA you pay taxes now (hopefully while you are in a lower tax bracket) before that money is invested. In the future the money you invested will grow and you can receive that money (your contributions PLUS any earnings) tax free. So it will not matter what tax bracket you are in in the future. With a traditional IRA you are contributing pre tax income. This is better if you are in a higher tax bracket right now because it lowers your Taxable income for this year but you will have to pay taxes on your contributions AND earnings in the future when you pull that money out.

    Great advice, but as a financial advisor, invest in IUL account is better cuz , it’s illness protection, compound interest is tax advantage and if the insured dies , 100% tax free goes to beneficiaries. Win win

    • @hunnybunny4306
      @hunnybunny4306 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re really an insurance salesperson who wants to convince people to buy IUL because you get high commission for selling it. Vivian only recommends term life insurance for those who have dependents because it’s much cheaper and you’ll come out well ahead by investing the amount you aren’t spending on IUL.

    • @6kids-n6t
      @6kids-n6t ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hunnybunny4306 so wrong, you got nothing out of term insurance and as a financial advisor, you don’t want to risk your assets, your retirement and everything cuz you have no illness protection. We’re Finacial literacy

    To make that 4.5% on checking, you have to deposit at least $5,000 per month into the account. You might make that much, but I don't! If I direct deposited my net pay of about $2250 per month I would get 1.2% interest. I can get 4 to 5% interest on 12 to 15 month CDs. BTW, I'm not really a fan of Tylor Swift, though she does seem to be popular with the 10 to 25 year old crowd. This reminds me of your news article paywall video from last year, where the site turned out to no longer exist a week after your video was released. I guess your videos work with the middle to upper class, under 30 demographic, but as a working-class person at 61 I have out grown you.
