Hey SiA! That was a great Video, different small things taken apart and get the numbers down. maybe do videos like this more often. Anyway have a good time!
I learnt a few things from your video. We all need to scrap and be mindful of not to waste. Like your prayer at the end.shall pay attention to your future videos.
Thank you. Yes I certainly do enjoy scrapping a lot. I haven’t made any videos of dumpster diving/recycling yet, mostly because I don’t have the proper camera yet, but hopefully one day I will. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment
Make sure the screws aren't brass! (unless you can tell by looking) Scratch test is key! File is great, but having a grinder handy is much quicker and makes for a less murky reading! The faucet you scratched with file may have had a thicker coating than you anticipated (I could be wrong). Wouldn't want you throwing good brass in the zinc or aluminum piles 😊
In the video I should’ve brought that up, that they could be brass and not stainless. I didn’t check them because of experience, but it’s better to never assume. Thank you!

I think everyone should scrap, or know a scrapper. Too many people just chuck things.
I completely agree! I love knowing we are all helping keep stuff out of the landfill and putting back into the recycling chain.
Everyone should know a pipe smoker as well. Lots of dollars worth of those things get chucked by people who think they're worthless.

A Nice Junk Fun Fact, the reason they use to use a lot of brass on door knobs and plumbing fixtures, is that brass has antibacterial properties
I actually knew that, but thank you for sharing that awesome information so others can see.
Makes one wonder, why so many are being made out of plastic these days.
I prefer the brass, for more than a few reasons🎯
