$.30 on the dollar for health care goes to administration, that's $1M per doctor. but we sure do have a lot of jobs in the medical field! my 2 cents is we've created lots of jobs, so many that they actually counteract each others effectiveness. we need measurements of effectiveness, not quantities, and then need to compare those measurements against our peers in every category to learn where we can do better.
